Thats aganozing torture...she loves him...despite him wanting her to "be free"...like fam...she tried to DRIVE OFF A CLIFF TO TO KEEP YOU SAFE!!!!
(ironically that can be a reason to let her go)
and don't get me started on the 2 billion won...SEND HELP...The Outrage..
anyways...i don't vent a lot during the ACTUAL reaction cuz it just turned people off..but this is my truth.

For the closing remarks, for a romance there's a new show called 'Love Scout' (on Viki) - it's a romance with no chaotic storyline, has a strong female lead, adult characters acting their age, etc. It's currently on air in Korea as well, so it's 2 episodes a week, with 2 already out.

He said he's punishing "himself", but it never occurred to him she was also being punished with him being gone.... and then she went to Argan.... when she was in the jungle I was like WTF is happening, is this the same show.....,lol, overall they wrapped it up nicely with a happy ending. Fantastic kdrama, definitely up there among the best.

2025-01-05 22:52:48 +0000 UTC(just saw the updated description) Regarding the end discussion, I think he knows Hee-Joo well enough to know she'd value the school more than just getting 2 billion won. He also got rid of his blood money from his Grandfather/father, they still have her money and his money from their careers as well. I do deeply disagree with his choices in the final episode. They attempt to explain it, and the explanations make sense, but aren't satisfying, to me at least.

Overall still a good show, but it could have gone from the end of episode 11 to the middle of episode 12 and been a better experience for me.
