I don't think the mom never loved her daughter. I think because she is a mom and grew up with no opportunities she didn't want her daughter to grow up like that so she wanted to control her in the tough love sense kinda like African parents how they think they know what's best for you. And during all of this she never took the time to understand her daughter I think that's what she messed up with. The fact that communication wasn't there and she never heard her daughter out!

I will take whatever cringe they want to give us but not them not being together. I think he is looking for his biological mother. That would be his sin never looking for her.
