2024-12-22 23:54:51 +0000 UTCFrom everything we've seen I've been thinking, Yhwach sounds like he's the father of all Quincy as some sort of title due to his powers and the piece of the soul king, but he's not the first Quincy. In this flashback we see him fully subjugating the Quincy kingdoms 200 years after his birth. I think his idea was that all Quincies needed to be under his power to accomplish his goals, as giving and taking their power is how he grew in power. I think there's always been tension between Quincy and soul society even before Yhwach, but his goals aren't related to that, his entire goal is to end what he sees as the injustice of death and the soul king's imprisonment
