It's a problem because the translator doesn't understand Korean well enough to properly translate it into English. I'm not on some mission to campaign against Viki or anything. But to a native Korean speaker, these way below sub-par subs done by novice Korean learners can't help but get on the nerve. I've been ignoring the horrible subs and simply listening to the dialogues, but had to point out a few as our hosts were questioning things based on the subs that were incorrect.

Someone should develop(if there is one already, ver likely there is) an app etc. to alert when the sound changes from the "control" sound quality.

2024-12-14 05:38:35 +0000 UTCI suppose later in the episode it was revealed that she is indeed not the real mother, but just want to let you know that she did not implied it when she said "Kids' father" - it's a very common way for the parents to address their spouses ("our kid's father", "our kid's mother").

These are just two small examples and, while I was saying thank you for choosing to watch this show, I simply included the FYIs. Simply trying to help with your confusions coming from bad subs. Plz let me know if I was not supposed to say anything about that.

Married Korean couples w/ children often address their spouses as their kid's father or mother to other people. And older siblings often address themselves as "unnie(older sister) or "oppa(older brother)" to their youner siblings. Anyhow, this is me FINALLY watching this famous drama - thanks to you & along with you. I would've never chose to watch it on my own. So thank you.
