2024-12-14 10:03:56 +0000 UTCAt the start Director was trying to talk about "Death Mount Death Play" you never finished the part 2 of that show. So you guys only watched part 1 of season 1. But I can understand it as it's like "Mouse" Kdrama you watching you had to pay attention what was happening or you get confused on that show. PS. You guys were so ready for this show, cats are evil and I always look Adorkable funny when she is all for the cats :D

This episode really brought eyes and focus back on this show after I think alot of people either didn't bother with it or kind of gave it a pass expecting just another magical girl show. Like mentioned though, kind of created the 3 episode rule for animes. I've never seen Gushing, but hearing it mentioned a couple times I can only assume it's another show that Madoka has probably been an influence for.

2024-12-14 05:36:03 +0000 UTCFunny note, when they showed the compilation movie for the first time in theaters, the ticket was a picture of Mami, where you tear the ticket stub at the neck part 😢. The compilation movie is good too. They add a few new scenes and upgrade the animation budget. Downside is they do take away a few scenes too.

We had no idea it would be this dark and go in this direction. No one had done this kind of magical girl show before so it was pretty unprecedented. Definitely influenced a decade worth of shows after it, for sure.
