2024-12-06 15:14:42 +0000 UTCTo my understanding, Ambessa was never ‘under control,’ Black Rose was just being sadistic and yanking her life energy out through her ears. Mel pulled up because she /meant it/ when she offered to leave with Ambessa and fulfill the runback, in e8. . Also, even if OldMan Viktor sent Jayce back, I don’t know where or why blowing a hole through him factored in. Viktor /wanted/ to talk face to face, and Jayce could have shown him the future without getting a chunk of Zaun and Piltover clapped (though it did wind up uniting them). Surely they could have pulled that off without the cull? . It /seems to be/ that OldManViktor has to enforce his own existence to some degree, and “most times” none but Jayce ensures it. Like, in the timeline where Vi died, Hextech doesn’t exist, so either Jayce went to prison or got executed, and Viktor didn’t get the clearance to try and survive using Hextech (even if Powder does make it, Viktor isn’t around to see it; remember, he was dying of his disease /during/ season 1). . He can’t conceive Ekko’s device, because that version of him didn’t live to see it. . Was of the vibe that Jayce was the important piece to S1 because he’s naive enough to believe in the Good Ending. In S2, it’s because he’s determined to believe in the Good of a /person/… for the most part. . Also, whether or not Jinx is outright ‘dead,’ she definitely doesn’t care to be found, which circles back to the same status.

This episode really proves that VI should have killed Ambessa in that Electric net in ep 6 dammmm Jinx dying because Vi jinxed it and did not jump to another platform is poetic. Love this show Jinx is the hero of this show she brought equality to Pilltover, but at a great cost. She suffered the most in my opinion never found love like VI did and Jinx kept suffering from delusions and loneliness. GOD TIER REACTION

The first character ever WHO had one of the greatest storys ever (long story much shorter old game Viktor lore began more or less the same, but no magic involved he just slowly replaced his failing body with machine, and then did the same first to the willing then to not do willing, but still all for their own good), and then got his story compleately re-written and be again one of the greatest. Victor LITTERALY chieved capital G Godhood, not just seeing, but manipulating every timeline at once to the smallest details like exacly what rune he gave to young Jayce...and out of them all, only in this one everything falls perfectly into place so Victor is stopped before bringing on the end of the world...aslo, one thing that the series ignored and may or may not be important later...Victor "God Form" was all radiant and celestial, but the world post "Glorious Evolution" looked VOID corrupted...not to mention his brand of hextech, not to mention Shimmer is definitly at some point harnessing power of the void...I wonder is that just wierd srylistic choice that is misleading or it will come into Play in later series

We will recorded shows on Tuesday and will go on break and will rely on on some pre recorded content for yall. I am just too pressed on time to make a discussion video. Its either we watch a show or talk another 15-20 min. Thanks for showing such interest in our opinions. Generally thats the part of the video with the lowest retention which further reinforces why i am reluctant to use up time on a discussion video which eats at recording reactions in the same space.

I feel like there's some stuff you missed like Jinx most likely being alive that you would have seen by now and other stuff like teasers and callbacks and symbolism in the eps that would make for a great discussion. This would typically happen in the next episode reaction but since these 3 were watched at the same time and the next season/show is yrs away which will be too late. Would be great to see a quick discussion again.

Pretty sure they'll be using Jinx to tie the shows together but we shall see considering they just revealed 2 of the biggest villains in all of LoL lore in this season both of which are from Noxus

Thats what Catlin was looking at, Jinx survived the blast and was on the airship leaving Piltover and Zaun behind. She did just what Silco told her to do, shes walking away from the cycle and going to do what she does in the Lore of LoL travel the world of Runeterra so IL have no doubt we'll see her in ether the next series or the one after it

2024-11-25 02:04:15 +0000 UTCI liked the show, but the finale didn’t really come together for me. I was most invested in the Piltover vs. Zaun conflict, and I felt like that was never resolved. The Black Rose subplot was too vague to be satisfying and felt like it should have been its own spinoff rather than taking up time in this show. Season 1 was so character driven and small scale, but for the finale, it felt like they tried to go too big, bit off more than they could chew, and failed to deliver a satisfying conclusion. Basically, if I don’t get that empty feeling in my stomach when a show ends—like Avatar gave me—then something wasn't satisfying.

He gave him different runes in every timeline to see which one would end with Jayce stopping him and this one did because the acceleration rune he gave him is the cause of ekko coming back in time to save everyone. If you watch the explosion that "killed" jinx in slow motion you see a purple/pink line dart of as the explosion happens. Then cait looks at the design of the hexgate to see air ducts along it. So Jinx was able to survive but decided to walk away so that Vi can be happy and she is in the airship at the end which in the first episode she mentions that one day she will ride in one of them.
