I would've thought flipping Felm from a villian to a shy tsundere would be cheesy, but it really just made the show even better. I swear this show somehow captures all the heat without any of the cringe

There was nothing talking further about like the story or any of the other stuff you stated. Plus, it also probably got pushed back because rose's voice actor died recently too.

I don't just take folks word for things. I really enjoyed this anime and I have been keeping up with the manga and multiple news sites for updates.

For a replacement duo show, I know you mentioned Talker and Grieving Soul but has anyone on discord mentioned Demon Lord 2099? It's a currently airing show only on ep 4 but I think it has potential and its pretty underrated. You guys are already watching all the other good ones this season so I can't complain but I would love to see either Talker or 2099.

2024-11-02 22:58:33 +0000 UTCSo I would like to start out by saying that I have not read the light novels of this story, so what i'm about to discuss is just theories based entirely on what I and now you have seen in this first season and does not constitute as spoilers unless someone who has read them confirms or denies my conclusions, so if anyone has then please don't. Now if you think about it there really isn't any feasible way for them to have Felm (the Dark Knight girl) accompany them on the mission to deliver missives to the other countries. After all, they're basically going around to their allies and asking them to lend their aid in the defense against the Demon Lord's invasion, to lay their lives on the line in the pursuit of that goal. In order to avoid making the countries they're visiting suspicious and potentially jeopardize the mission they limited the accompanying "soldiers" to two (the red head and Blurin). Can you imagine how suspicious they would become if they found out that Usato's party had a demon accompanying them? Even if they kept her hidden the entire time it would be only a matter of time before Felm got found out, and if Usato defended her against those who would then try to kill her (as we know he would) it would only be natural for them to conclude that the kingdom had allied themselves with the demons and turned traitors against humanity. Then not only would the other nations likely deny the request for aid, fearing it to be a trap to further weaken them against the impending invasion, they would quite possibly invade the kingdom themselves in order to oust (i.e. behead) the traitorous ruling family and reinforce the frontline standing between them and the demons wanting to steamroll over them. So in the end it's a good thing that Rose is keeping a close eye on Felm and keeping her from impulsively joining Usato on his journey.
