The thing I can't quite figure out is what is his end-goal. Unless Aizen and Ishida have been working together from the beginning, it's actually Ishida that's locked up downstairs, while Aizen was fighting Ichigo, all this was an illusion, and the Soul King is NOT damaged at all or absorbed, I dunno how Ichigo and Friends pull out a win here.
