2024-10-30 12:51:22 +0000 UTCThe actual mistake they made I think is since the villain wasnβt tangible (in other words they extra-dimensional) turning back time with the dream plot point didnβt affect them. So they remained awakened to the truth.

2024-10-24 01:16:05 +0000 UTCI loved Romance of Tiger and Rose! It was so interesting to see how 1 change in the story completely veered it on its head. Seeing how the matriarchal world she created wasn't fixing any problems and just switching it on different people was very funny but also kind of thought provoking. Stories like that and W are so good for how they deal with different mediums.

2024-10-23 23:34:53 +0000 UTC45:30 lool what adorkable said applies exactly to Naruto x Hinata. Only difference is, when it happened in Naruto everyone vibed with the pairing coz we literally spent years sympathizing with Hinata's character (and coz she's waifu) and saw all the toxicity that happened with Sakura. We're only watching the pairing with the secretary through the lens of this kdrama, but for the long time webtoon readers, they'd be going "Finally!"

2024-10-23 23:32:13 +0000 UTCYeah, this episode was so fire!! cause you wonder how they're going to extend the drama even longer when author dad finally plans to end the comic "correctly," so i never expected author dad to literally lose his face. I like how it's basically the drama emphasizing that you dont get to exist in two places at once (even if one place is a comic). BUT i'm still so angry that villain gets to keep his powers now that he has a real body. Like, now you're a person, you don't get to walk through walls and disappear anymore--you have to be regular just like everybody else-- But maybe this is a consequence of them not thinking about how the villain essentially got to retain ALL his memories of the real world.

2024-10-23 22:04:14 +0000 UTCI agree, but what I think is most impressive is how meta it is, looking closely at the experience of creative writing and dealing with your will VS that of your story. The only drama I've seen go that meta is a C-drama called Romance of Tiger and Rose, where the author ends up in her novel and realizes that none of what she had planned made sense and characters have a will of their own. The delivery of the plot is obviously not as great as W, but it's also a really fun watch!

2024-10-23 13:46:36 +0000 UTCThe writer of this KDrama has a strong attention to detail. You guys were right, the show runner/writer, her name is Song Jae-Jung, really put in small details as to what mangakas and manga readers go through, with all of the little intricacies and trends. Things like the fandom getting mad at where a story is going, or a mangakas just wanting to end the story. She does the same attention to detail when she wrote the KDrama Memories of Alhambra, where the focus was on the gaming industry and Dark Souls like video games. In that drama, the main character is modeled after those crazy game developers like Shinji Makami or Hideo Kojima. The game is Dark Souls/Elden Ring to a T, to a point where the game mechanics lead to some of the most emotional scenes in the series (great KDrama by the way, starring Hyun Bin and Park Shin Hye)

2024-10-23 13:37:22 +0000 UTC57:37 when I first saw this scene years ago, this was the scariest s*it ever! Props to the cosmetics team of this show for coming up with such a unsettling prosthetic and make-up. I'm a sucker for good practical effects. No wonder the character Soo Bong passed out.
