I can acknowledge that the animation is... calling it "mid" is still being too generous, but literally everything else about the show hard carries for me. The story, VA work, the art, the music, pretty much everything else about the show is still enjoyable, so I let it slide. I still feel for manga readers since I can relate to the pain of seeing one of your favorite manga/LNs get snubbed (Especially a top seller like Blue Lock), but like YBRL said, if I just look at it like a colored manga from back in the day but with a lot more extra put into it, it's still fun from an anime-only perspective.

I’m just saying that the dislike for the animation is justified. Since animation is such a key part of a show. It’s just that the comment section is basically influencing their reactors to see the disappointment as they do. So it’s like… you want to see you disappointed reactors as well? Not you personally. I hope they give us real animation for the U-20 match because for me animation is very important to a show, I will still watch tho because I am a big bluelock fan
