No misses with the animation plus although the pacing is so fast you feel like there must be content getting skipped, they're still carefully selecting scenes they do cover so it still has depth and flows well *chef's kiss* On another note, always hyped when my boy Aizen is on screen - "Naruhodo"

2024-10-20 09:03:49 +0000 UTCHonestly that's possible but there's no way to ever know if it was perfect hypnosis or reality. If it was hypnosis though, it wouldn't do all that much because if Kyoraku bought it and was dumb, instead of the left eye and ankles being freed, something else would have been. so Aizen would only have two other random seals off and both eyes and his ankles sealed. Hypnosis at that moment to play around with unsealing him really didn't have any goal, I don't think Aizen is capable of affecting thought, so he can't mess up the count of keys in Kyoraku's head, just which three are released by messing with the perception of the locks.

2024-10-20 03:03:46 +0000 UTCMy take is: Yhwach doesn't have Hand-Eye Coordination. ;) OTOH, Aizen can manipulate any and all of your senses, so he knows that the Soul King is dead, he knows that Ukitake is shouldering the load temporarily, and that they're gonna come to him out of his own self-preservation, if nothing else. The problem is, how many keys are they going to release, so that he can defeat Yhwach, but not so many that they can't lock him back up again? Are they going to have Ichigo kick his ass again? Honestly, making a deal with Ichigo would be better than making a deal with Aizen. What's Ichigo gonna ask for, promoting him above Substitute Shinigami? Becoming part of Squad Zero? A date with Rukia?!

2024-10-20 01:41:35 +0000 UTCMy understanding of Aizen's prison is that he is separated from all of his senses, nerves and awareness by the 108 keys. In theory he isn't aware of his body on any level. It's like that for every part of Aizen's body from head to toe. He "shouldn't" be able to see. He "shouldn't" be able to walk, much less free himself from the full-bodied shackles he was in. On top of that, he's already stated that his reiatsu was "trapped" as well, confined close to his body. Though even that, I imagine is a far larger "terror radius" than anyone else in this would be able to project. It's truly mind boggling to be able to forcibly move parts of your body that you have no connection or awareness of. I can only think he's using his reiatsu to forcibly move his body like a second nervous system.

2024-10-20 01:22:40 +0000 UTCNo shade with this comment, just sharing : Yhwach (spelling). Pronounced YU-HA-BA-HA That's why it doesn't make sense in a way. I think what's happening is that he's being referred to in the "trinity". 3 different aspects of the name are in play at once. In some religions God is called Yahweh for example, but God has given himself 99 nicknames in Islam (aka As Salam), and then in Christianity he's simply known as God. In this case since Yhwach is the son of the soul king, he'd be more like Jesus in this case. I could be completely wrong, but my head cannon just always sort of rationalized it that it's written one way, pronounced another and references an ideal. So the name is literally "3D", like the holy trinity.

And I get that. The background does make the words easier to read but it's also distracting to me so I turned it off. I just had to adjust the subtitle shadow style to make the words pop more. I was just making you aware that you could edit them, if you didn't know. But I see you do; no worries.
