2024-10-16 06:33:40 +0000 UTCImo, I think the reason that I didn't like what oz did is because it didn't feel like it was a calculated move, it didn't feel like he was just trying to save his own behind. It felt like a core character moment where he gets hurt and then impulsively retaliates and for him to snitch out of being butt hurt (although i understand all the viewpoints and variables.) it left a sour taste in my mouth also falcone had me upset/disappointed because he's suppose to be this big kingpin who is running his empire and when sophia came to him basically telling him to lie to her, to manipulate her and that she was sorry. He chose to frame her and send her away. It was just like damn you suck man. (now granted i hate him for all the stuff that she went through and its in line with his character since he was a rat and shifty but still yaknow. If you're gonna be evil, be better.)

They really be blaming oz for what happened to Sofia not them who lied on her head but oz who told the truth, after she showed him she just like the rest of them whenever they get mad they gonna take it out on him

2024-10-16 03:58:53 +0000 UTCI think Oz told Sophia the truth last episode about giving her up to her father. Did he like her? Yes. But did he regret doing it? No. He understood that a man like him (someone who grew up in the projects with a disability) doesn’t rise in this kind of organization, without having something to give. He got to live more comfortably and live in better conditions. That’s all he needs to deem doing whatever dirt he does worth it. It feels 50/50 on how far he figured the Dad would go to punish Sophia, but I don’t think it matters. He is a man of resentful ambition and like Lee said at the end, he continues to maneuver things in a way to leave him the opportunity to rise again and again
