I tried doing the one-finger pushup, thinking my finger was strong enough, like a certain forever lost boy, but I only made it past 1 and a half XD those were the days...

I heard about the show long ago, but that was in my young and dumb days, so I wrote it off as "studid". The action sequences are enough to keep me interested though.

2024-10-12 20:46:10 +0000 UTCIsn't it odd how when we were kids' nudity was normal thing in cartoons, but as we get older its now bad to have a little nudity in are cartoons. Example dragon ball Goku would run around naked and even seen Bulma's backside and chest. Even this classic version and nudity and spots in it. Guess 80's kids just could handle it better.

I will say, while I don't remember it scene by scene or anything, it seems pretty faithful to the original so far, which I definitely like.

Now if the could do remake of School Rumble too. PS. Hearing Lina VA from Dragon Slayer again (Ranma girl) is nice.

Also they didn't realize how bad that curse really is if it randomly rains and you turn into an animal you're fucked cause who's gonna turn you back

I really just wanted y'all to see the first episode to see how y'all would react to Ranma's situation and I was not disappointed. I think Mappa is doing a good job with the remake so I'm hoping it will do well on YouTube. Weird sidenote: I was watching this show when I heard about the twin towers in 2001.

2024-10-12 02:46:20 +0000 UTCOne thing I gotta say though, since this is a readaptation of an 80s manga, expects the troupe of mc always getting slapped and beat up by fmc whenever ecchi or lucky sukebe situations happen just like in this episode when Ranma walked in on her in the bath and get slapped.

The og (or technically the second interation of the material but the 1st doesn't matter) ran from 1989 to 1992 and is an absolute classic anime. Mind you i say that having been born in 2002, ten years after it finished. (Ps. The og doesn't censor certain 'parts' like this one does if your interested. Personally I perrfer the censorship, they are still children.)
