(no hate to early ybrl I swear 😭). This my favorite show so i love good reaction. All I ask (selfishly) is keep shooting in the dark. A lot of the fans are toxic but I’d love to explain thing that yall forgot or miss (yall don’t have the luxury of rewatching since yall got so many shows to handle)!!

I can only imagine how many things are going on in the background right now while Subaru is busy dealing with Sirius. If you recall, there was a messenger sent to the main city gate by Anastasia Hoshin that mysteriously went missing, Mimi and Garf havent been seen for days, theres a Metia that can broadcast throughout the entire city (could Sirius use her authority over the broadcast to slaughter the entire town??!?), and we know from the teaser trailer that theres more archbishops somewhere in the city. In Episode 1 Subaru jokingly said the whole place "sounds like a water prison"- this is such ominous foreshadowing. Im so hyped for this season.

2024-10-12 01:50:48 +0000 UTCNah it's valid when comes to Reinhard, Rezero is not Shonen where big OP good guy character comes in and saves the day after "MC" can't win. Author knows exactly how to play around those tropes and did it amazing in Subaru's loop with him. Author doesn't give Subaru any of these conveniences when he is just going to hold back Emilia or anyone else for that matter like he was doing in Season 1 not allowing her to fight along with him and trying to hide her away, so in any case he had a small but very reasonable relapse in this episode since he allowed Emilia in Season 2 take the trials despite the dangers of her going mind broken with just that. Emilia was always strong, a lot of people forget but she held her ground with puck around against Petelgeuse and killed him during Subaru failed loop.
