2024-10-02 16:31:28 +0000 UTCGambit was in Wolverine Origins, same as Deadpool. But back then he was played by Taylor Kitsch. This one was a reference to a movie that was never made. In the end credits Ryan Reynolds makes a reference to always wanting to play the character and Director Nasty talks as if that interview is from Blade 3 and is corrected saying it's from Wolverine Origins. Ironically though, it has been heavily implied that the reason Reynolds took the job in Blade 3 was as a stealth audition to be Deadpool. He got to play a fast talking, annoying smart ass with a sword and he wanted to show he could do it well to try and push for Deadpool. This whole movie franchise is really his baby. I first heard talk of him trying to play Deadpool back in early 2000s. Before he was even a movie star, before the MCU was a thing, Ryan Reynolds has been trying to get a Deadpool movie with himself as the lead character. It has been HEAVILY implied that it was HIM who got the test footage leaked to the internet in order to give himself another shot at pitching the first movie. Dude has been straight up HUSTLING for over a decade to get this shit going.

Kidpool and babypool are played by their irl children. The western Deadpool was played by Matthew McConaughey * Madonna is extremely restrictive with certain songs like “like a prayer", so Ryan Reynolds met with her in person to ask for permission to use the song. Madonna liked the idea so much she even made suggestions about how the scenes might go, and it is speculated that wolverines clothes exploding off in slow motion was actually her idea * Wesley Snipes might return in a new Blade movie because of this movie * Chris Evans declined a teleprompter for his end credits line because he memorized it due to being overjoyed to play Johnny Storm again * Kevin Feige didn't ban cocaine jokes, they asked if anything was not allowed and he said "not really, the cocaine jokes might be a little outdated but do whatever is best and we'll let you know". Allegedly he was laughing his ass off when he saw the jokes they made about his comment

She was actually one of the people at the start of the big fight when they pulled up to Cassandra's base. At 1:19:57 through 1:19:59 she is the one next to Juggernaut on his left, opposite side from Azazel, Nightcrawler's Dad, at least before the 2023 retcon. She also appears again at 1:20:44, and is killed by Wolverine at 1:21:16. Anyways, Great Reaction!
