OMG, he looked familiar but just could not place his face..

I am glad both ex girlfriend and ex boyfriend are not toxic. No cheating or what so ever. Like they broke up because it just didn't work for them. They didn't have the right love they need and want with both ML and FL.

All that to say, the party itself wasn't the issue it was that there was no communication and this all happened on the day where she also had her work environment all shaken up.

The thing about the argument for me was that seeing how she seemed ready to take trips and such before the diagnosis, if he had actually communicated that he wants to also go on the trips or go to the parties like the used to here and there, she would have understood. But because he had never established that he would like to still go out every one in a while, and made it seem like he was fine with everything, she continued on with the assumption that they were don't the same page. What really drove her to that breakup point, I think, is that the day of the party she had been calling him. They showed flashbacks of her calling asking for his presence after going to work and hearing her coworkers. She was sobbing leaving a voicemail for him to please pick up or call her back, and his phone wasn't on him while at the party. So it was kind of like " bro I was crying just trying to hear your voice and gain comfort and you were at a party I didn't know about?". Him saying that she was dragging him down with her also didn't help things either.

The caregiver goes through a ton of stress too, so I get the fiance's side. There's a reason hospice respite exists (not that she's a hospice patient at all).

omg!! i KNEW i recognized him lmaoo something about his cheekbones and jawline looked hella familiar

The thing is people don't realise how hard it for the caregivers/partners, probably more so than the sick in some ways. Like you're not only watching your loved one struggle every day in pain while you can nothing but be there for them, and also have to put everything on hold, take care of everything you can think of and more while staying strong. And because of the stress and anxiety they go through everyday the caregivers are exhausted physically and mentally. Same for partners/loved ones of a depressed person, people easily empathize with their pain but the partners are naturally taken for granted most of the time during that period. And people expect them to understand understand everything without a concern for their feelings cuz they probably never experienced it, but its equally hard on them as it is for the sick person. Proper therapy is needed for both partners to process everything and be in a healthy relationship going forward.

37:40 this part gave physical pain, that was SICK. Like imagine finally mustering up the courage to confess to the love of your life after 33 years and now you even have a milk box sitting in the fridge counting down the days to hear her reply AND SHE HITS YOU WITH THIS? I fear you would have to lock me up after that because I would lose my mind 😂

1:00:25 & 1:34:04 Great reaction and outro discussion! Lee was really hating on the ex-boyfriend, like Marry My Husband levels of hate. Every time the ex-boyfriend showed up Lee looked so annoyed and was like, "What are you doing here? Get off the screen. I can't." It was great to see both of their reactions to the couple's backstory and them breaking down how their relationship ended.

I understood the fiance, it's such a complicated matter supporting someone with depression. Care givers need to take care of themselves, it's soooo important.

seokryu definitely wanted seunghyo to know but it was just the how she would even begin to tell him that she struggled with. it was easier of him to find her diagnosis because at least she couldn't run away from it.

janaé yukimura

Your ending discussion was absolutely perfect; thoughtful and well articulated. This show was definitively the perfect one for the two of you to react to.

Genevieve

this episode has been my favorite so far from ep 1 to ep 9, her ex fiancé is such a good guy and the flashbacks genuinely make you feel bad for him. watching someone you love hurt and change drastically is hard.

liah

This one hurt

Infinite Ree

I don’t know if you noticed but the ex fiancé is the penthouse guy from happiness
