Descendants of The Sun I WISH FOLKS WERE NOT SO VOCAL ABOUT THE LEADS SPLITTING UP IN REAL LIFE….Some of you guys really go down the rabbit hole and know everything about these actors and thats respectable…but its not alway needed for you to relay that information…Right off the jump on Episode 1…People were LOUD about why they cant watch the Leads because they know they split. They were loud about it even before it won the poll. At the time you watched it, that controversy was not present…it still won the poll and you passed that negative energy and i always had it in the back of my mind watching this show. I am not upset. But for a future reactor…you don’t gotta make sure they know they split in real life..think about it…it serves no positive value for a first time viewer. Thats just my 2 cents…
(Cool show, not mind blown. The Leads are great. I think it just lacks something epic like most of the other shows i love have…It has Mature Charactors and Great Actors…and that is about it….lol. )

From my perspective Healer or the K2 is as much of a romance as a superhero film. There is a prominent central romance, but it's not the core plot of the show.

I read your suggestion, and intended to make a post about how well you navigated both suggesting a show that I wasn’t looking for while also recommending the K dramas in the same post. And the reason for that compliment is people use up the notifications to suggest things I’m not asking for. But you managed to accomplish both in the same post. There is generally too many comments for me to answer. The passion you add to your comment is a double edged sword. Whenever you watch love next door intro ep 9 observe how I struggle on lengthier comments. Had to reset my eyes and try again. I am not always reading comments in an office. It may be something i see right before bed, waking up, had a red light, in the rest room, and then i am trying to scan through as many as possible. 95% of comments i read are actually n my email not in the platform. It takes additional steps to get from my email and scroll on down to the comment to answer the person who wrote. And the more your wrote generally the more thought i put in my reply like i am right now. I thought about my response for so long regarding Warrior that i ended up forgetting. Because when i respond the wrong way people do get irritated or rubbed the wrong way. Especially if they were passionate about the subject. Please look back at the Happiness Poll replacement title. See the word closed? Lol. People keep commenting loooooong after its over. People have also ignored the instructions on this but its not so bad So i disable the comments because i kept getting notified with suggestions on a closed topic. They are not deleted but i can see them on my end. Its a Kdrama suggestion post though and you added Warrior. (This is the part where i am unable to navigate with words hence why it took so much thought that i ended up forgetting so now i switch to emotional rant) I post 6 episodes kdramas a week with the crew. The anime folks want their anime and upset about more kdrama . So i we gotta keep them happy and also added more. I am currently covering snowfall and dont have enough editor to cover that and season 1 under performed on YouTube (pareons dont care about that). Warrior is a high quality underrated show. Underrated also means it will likely under perform when i post but people reallllllly don’t wanna hear about analytics and all that. Just react to these dope suggestions I dont always know what to do, how to respond, how to keep people happy. Then when i come across such an articulate person such as yourself its a bit intimidating to to respond right away without thought as i can tell your highly intelligent and articulate and passionate. I put on different hats depending on my scenario or who i am talking to. Thats my avatar changes and got like several characters. It refers to my current mental state lol. So anyways. Personally generally every show has a romantic element. It being a focal point or not as a bit debatable sometimes because it’s a staple for relationships especially when there are multiple men and women in the same show but we can agree something like the descendants of the sun or what’s wrong with secretary Kim is a strong romance theme

It’s not about only a drama, it came out of Korean word 드라마 (pronounced drama) which translates as a series. It has various genres for any taste. You should at least check one of them to judge. Korea has so many fans for a reason. It has a quality of story, not just a s*x and sleeping with everyone.

I loved the action and it's one of my favorite kdramas but the romance was strong, most people think so, it can be easily called a romance kdrama. And it's not just about the characters but the story in general. Yoona(I don't remember her name) in K2 has the purpose to soften the male lead which happens in most action movies in general (not just kdramas) and the main point was him, it's a classic story. That it's your opinion about the antagonist stealing the show, I personally loved him and the action in this kdrama. Chang Wook said that he had a tough time making this kdrama and if you watch his stunts in the show, it makes sense, it has some raw action, as a fan of this genre, I loved it. Just saying, in the end, I wouldn't have a problem to watch Healer with them either but hope they feel the same since it has plenty of romance in it.

I think the main difference between the shows is that Park Min Young's female lead has a story and arc of her own, while female lead in the K2 gets relegated to the sidelines a bit. I think the K2 antagonist has a more prominent role and honestly steals the show from Yoona and Ji Chang Wook.

As K2 and Healer are, in my opinion, action-romance based shows, as opposed to being non-romantic shows, I stated my surprise, since they may not fit what was expected of this poll. I don't recommend shows as often as most, yet, when I do, I consider your guys' viewing preference, the information provided in your lengthy descriptive, and your instruction to see supportive data accompany the recommendations that would help you gauge worthiness and popularity (e.g. ratings, platform availability, brief details on what differentiates the show from other shows, etc.). The aforementioned is important to me because of the time and effort you put into providing guidelines regarding the information you need to see to make the best decision. With this being said…. On the previous Happiness replacement poll and against my better judgment, I made a request and put together a nice origin etymology of the American series "Warrior". I even waited for the "Suggestions Request" post to be sure suggestions could be made in the comments. I remember being shocked to read that the show was based on Bruce Lee's writings. I immediately thought about you and The Director having observed, via the reactions, how passionate you guys have always been regarding various martial arts methods, conceptual thought processes, and a kickass storyline. I was excited to share my research on the awesome elements that went into the show's "Treatment" with everyone. That Warrior and KDrama suggestions took me some time to gather having to pull information and ratings from various sites so it felt dismissive to see my post disappear via the comments being disabled and without any acknowledgment it was even viewed. I didn't need a response to the post; yet, I wasn't expecting it to disappear either. As stated in my initial post, it mattered not if you reacted to the show, I just wanted to share the great backstory in case you decided to watch it privately. Speaking only for myself, I typically don’t address matters such as this because, under normal circumstances, it's not that deep. However, I'm willing to be labeled Sensitive Sally or Petty Patricia this time because the post expressed my time and effort and I would be remiss if I did not speak on it. Requesting suggestions and having us commit time and effort to create a suggestive response that not only considers your preferential guidelines but also attempts to mirror the quality, time, and effort you and your team provide becomes redundant and insensitive if the option is always there to disable and hide our post like it never existed. Its when the total audience is at its peak and discussing and all that sharing theories. Thats why i am so gungho to record the new show now or almost never at all. 2024-09-25 23:26:45 +0000 UTCI can give my reason for not contributing to the viewing, as they come. I general don't watch shows unless they are fully released. Same goes with reactions. I watched a couple of Love Next Door, but I don't plan on continuing until they are all available so that I can watch 4 or 5 per day, which is what I find preferable. So, some of the reduced viewership for ongoing shows may be people like me. Do you have enough history with reacting to ongoing shows to know if views spike on the earlier episodes only after you release the final one?

Despite my concerns, I went ahead and did it with my wife. It didn’t perform as well as the nostalgia shows, perhaps because of its popularity or maybe because viewers don’t enjoy my wife and I’s reactions as much as the Trio’s. So, here's where I’m going with this... I don’t want to hold back the potential reach of the content. Fans seem to crave more than the newer ones, because that would limit the growth of the YouTube channel and Patreon support. At the same time, I still want to watch and react to newer shows. So, if those aren’t being selected by the viewers, my plan is to continue reacting to them with my wife, just like we’ve been doing. This way, we can cover the shows we’re interested in, even if they’re not the most popular picks. That’s the best plan I’ve come up with to balance my own interests, satisfy fans who want new content, and promote strategic growth by posting the K-dramas people are most eager to see. I also created a non-romance slot because reacting to three romances at once is a bit much, lol. For now, I think that’s the best approach. I’ve noticed a difference in support when I cover new shows versus sticking to nostalgia shows, and doing more of the latter led to a big jump in engagement. It’s hard to ignore that.

It just seems shows like a year plus or older make the poll but sometimes newer ones get missed. Or is the preference to react to ones airing but with more eps available?
