Zues father ate his children fearing the same fate cuz he overthrownn his parent lol. but zues mother replaced him with a stone and he grew up and freed his siblings hence why they are generally loyal (not always). The first actual ruler was his grandfather Uranus who married his mother Gaia. After Uranus His son Cronus over threw him. From there they birth the other gods and Zeus finally over throws Cronus. The actual first god or also known as primordial deities is Chaos who kind of just always existed.

2024-09-25 19:16:32 +0000 UTCjust wanted to say thanks yall for continuing this reaction even when it died on YT. this is one of my favorite stories, though some of the fanbase might be a bit drunk on member berries lol obviously a big draw is the main couple, but what i really like is how all the plots have some basis in things that go on in the real world. religion, economics, politics, all that, which makes for great discussions. as for the talk at the end, in college i ended up having to cover a bunch of different religions and time periods for my major and pretty much you can see exactly what Lee was saying about how a lot of the major religions can be boiled down to some very similar core beliefs and structures. interesting stuff
