By the way, you and Director watched KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World, and one of the big ideas in that show was how they got literal power from all the followers by proxy who were worshipping the God of Eros and Lust, and then they made her underneath Mitama.

Holo tells Elsa that Elsa shouldn't hear the answer from Holo, because Elsa shouldn't question a pagan god to get an answer to the truth of her own faith. Franz collected stories about pagan gods not put of heresy, but because if those stories are true, then perhaps the stories of God from the Bible are also true.
