From what I understood, the elf mage has his own magic which is wind magic but he also has the illusion magic given to him for being an elf.

Both felt that they’re “laggard” and saw Will openly getting ridiculed but still worked hard for it. Lihanna doesn’t care for what others say thus she recruits Will to join her on the expedition. However Wignall, being a proud Elf, can’t openly accept Will for working hard, thus he uses listening to Lihanna as an excuse to accept Will into the group. And Will in this episode proves to Wignall why he deserves the respect, thus Wignall “allows”another Human to touch him and shakes Will’s hand.

2024-09-18 00:40:30 +0000 UTCI think you guys have it mixed up a bit... 6 years is the final year... that's basically senior year. The real talents either get scouted before they reach graduation, or create a new magic and automatically advance to the tower. You can ascend to the tower at the end of 6 years if you acquire the needed credits. If you don't have enough credits by the end of year 6, that's it, you're done... that's Will currently. The top 3 have enough credits to graduate I think and move on to the tower, but they still feel inferior for still being there.
