What do you watch here, or would watch, as certain shows—like the animated American ones—come and go? I personally gravitate towards action because that’s what I’ve been exposed to, but I know there are tons of hidden gems out there. Some are great for reactions, while others are best enjoyed in our own free time. I appreciate you all.
Feel free to add any feedback you’d like. If you want my genuine response, where I talk to you like a peer and keep it real, just say, 'Rock D Lee, respond sincerely.' You might not always like what I have to say, but that’s a two-way street. I’ve made changes based on people challenging my logic respectfully, and that only happens when I can be vulnerable and share my thought process. Without those words, though, you’ll just get the usual, 'OK, wow, that’s great feedback... thanks, I’ll see what I can do.'
For example:
Kdrama fans convinced me to add a non-romance show because it never wins the polls, but I wanted to satisfy the minority that sticks around and contributes.
Anime fans pushed me to react to Link Click instead of yet another generic isekai.
Fans got me to pick up Case Study of Vanitas when I was reluctant to record Bungo Stray Dogs.
Live-action fans convinced me to take on a long series like Snowfall, even though I’m not big on multi-season live-action shows.
I always 'argue' my decisions, but I’m ready to be defeated by an intelligent response. Give me an honorable death, LOL.

2024-09-17 03:49:35 +0000 UTCIn addition to most of the stuff listed here, K-dramas being the exception, I also watch animation that is neither Japanese Anime nor American (Reboot and Code Lyoko being notable examples.) Of course the time when I'm not busy with work or resting after has largely been occupied watching new animes like I Parry Everything or The Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party, Became Invincible, just to name a couple. As a result I haven't found the time to watch everything I want to here on Patreon and have even fallen behind on some of my earlier favorite favorite series such as One Piece. It's not that I've lost interest in them, not in the slightest, it's just that time is a precious resource that I'm struggling to manage well enough to do everything. However, I am managing to catch some of your reactions here on Patreon in spite of my bloated schedule. I'm loving your reactions to The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic and the fact that you guys kept going with Slime when many of the other reactors had put it on hold due to how season 3 had started out. It's among the myriad of reasons why I continue to support you guys year after year, and your reactions are why I will continue to support you guys until your channel becomes one that's K-dramas/One Piece only or the day we face a Copyright Apocalypse where reactions are outright outlawed (not that I really believe that we'll see Running Man days like that, but with companies like Google gaining more power and less compassion towards creators you never know. 😂😅)

I can feel Lee and gang's enthusiasm wanning from watching Vanitas. So I'm not the only one feeling bored by it. Whoever compares it to Bungo Stray Dogs is really shitting on a higher tier show than Vanitas.

I'm only interested in Happiness right now of the 3 dramas , had to weigh my mind if to take a break and come back next month depending in the the current poll. But I enjoy popping into the kdrama chat too

Also,here for Discord chat/community, it's fun/nice to have a community that likes the same things as me and to see all the different opinions. Not watching Kdramas because I've watched too many of drama similar to Kdrama while growing up and don't want to start again. Same goes for Live action series, have binged most of the popular ones for years and now watching anime & reading manga/LNs to cool off from the burn. (I've a series tracking site and it seems I've watched 14k episodes 😅 of live actions ) Well I still watch series like Star trek tho.

Like i would watch house of the dragon,dark,the boys and maybe 10 other top tier shows but everything else will be a skip. For anime and kdrama even a decent show can be a fun watch. But seriously tho, Should at least do like a 3 episode trial for bakemonogatari.

Even the small kdrama channel with 8,000 people each video beats most anime uploads in terms if supporers so it’s translating to patreon. Thats why i dont neglect YouTube as patreons want me to sometimes. 100% of people came from there and return there and come back when ready

And when they are winning id do the same for kdramas. The growth i am looking at includes satisfying both those audiences as best as possible and i already saw i was lacking in anime last week when i posted about it. The live action fan base is something i never had a stronghold in and i dont think they like me generally speaking and it’s highly competitive for me

So i can accurately determine if when we covered more, whether or not it made a difference to the subscriber base. I got movie reaction and indian reactions something i also consider. I always intend in doing live action. Just the volume will fluctuate. I naturally watch them so the the variety prevents fatigue. I am looking forward to shorter series though. Its nice to start something and quickly watch something else particularly cuz we binge and it feels long in one series. So no serious changes but will always cover the hype live action

And I follow a few reactors (on and off) and I have to say, you interact the most with the people, that it's not easy, kudos for that:)

While I watch everything when it comes to suggestions, I mostly suggest live action shows and movies because I want live action to grow more on the channel and I know the others got the K-Drama and Anime side covered. Your reactions are always fun and there is a balanced mix of serious and non-serious commentary :-) We are lucky that you react to such a large number of content and that you are consistent. That you are watching 3 kdramas at the same time (4 with the couple reaction!!) is the cherry on the cake :-D The only feedback I would give is to ignore the majority of comments (bec its the internets lol) and close comments on polls :-P

2024-09-16 19:24:05 +0000 UTCI watch primarily anime, but I am definitely not opposed to live action (although so far it has only been The Bear) or even western cartoons. And while you guys do gravitate towards the action, and I have enjoyed action show reactions from you guys, I find the actual action bits to have the least interesting reactions. To ME, the best reactions are to emotional moments, surprising moments, traumatic moments, and even (and I know these are risky for y'all to post, but that don't make me love them any less) social and political moments... Sure sure watching Suletta fly around in her broom bodying random drones was cool for me to watch at home, but watching you react to her mom slowly coaxing her across the bloodstained treshhold was WAY more interesting to me. So the action shows that are like 90% action and no meat to them just don't work for me as a show to watch reactions for. This does mean I will tend to lean more towards less action heavy shows simply because they have more of those moments that make reactions a join to watch. But plenty of action heavy shows (Gurren Lagann and Akudama Drive come to mind) also have those great moments to react to and I love the reactions to that. Now I don't think anything I said here demands a response per se, but if you want to respond, then Rock D Lee (or anyone else reading this), you are welcome to respond sincerely. Brutal honesty beats fake niceties every day.

2024-09-16 19:17:59 +0000 UTCI pretty much only watch your anime reactions, but I have watched western live action stuff, I would watch deadpool reactions, but the majority of western live action stuff doesn't appeal to me, however, there is definitely shows that I'd watch over the anime reactions like Stargate or Dr Who, however I do not believe those shows could ever get covered on this channel. In terms of western cartoons, I personally watch Spilling the Milk a lot, though their style is more edited(3 episodes/1 movie per 20 minute video) and they mainly cover that kind of stuff, but my interests are comedy cartoons like South Park and never action cartoons like Teen Titans or Xmen. I've never gave Kdramas a go, but from what I generally know about the Kdramas you cover, I don't watch their western/english counterparts so my interest is very low. Much more into Sci-fi stuff like Stargate or Dr Who.
