More Anime shows next quarter

Now that I have separated the K dramas to a different different channel it’s a lot easier to identify where the lag of growth is coming from
My particular channel doesn’t attract much anime/western live action fans much anymore.
We do well with Romcoms and Isekai in particular, especially Isekai. Everyone does well in Shonen but i noticed Reanimated does better with Shonens. I got fatigue with Isekais but Whats Wrong With Healing Magic has gotten me a bit more excited but i am told..:there’s actually not much good shows like it. So i dunno lol.
Director says the only reason I like it so much is because I’m no longer overly exposed to Isekais. Cuz its a very simple formula but it HITS.
So anyways. Thats the update
So my intention is to have more higher performing animes and as result react to more ANIME at a time.
If i Am stuck with low performance shows in Anime i am reluctant to add MORE.
But now things are less cluttered and i Hope without posting kdramas on the main channel the algorithm will refavor our animes.
Also folks saying we fell off are only looking at the animes lol

Yea. I know it’s popular. I am not interested in those characters and i understand its a dialogue driven show. There’s always a possibility I can be wrong I’m just explaining the why as I have to filter out tons of potential shows

So I just have to be very mindful navigating suggestions. People do not necessarily know What we will like and will push their interest which is fine I’m not complaining about it I’m just being open to you because you didn’t know the reason

So when all cards are equal i prefer modern art. Crisp if possible. But i like OG baki more than newer baki. And i liked loved chunivyo a lot. Also liked old school bleach. Too my knowledge i have seen MOST OG anime’s i will like. And many popular suggestions scare me cuz my personal friends tell me. I wouldn’t like it. So thats why i hesitate. That doesn’t mean I don’t think they are any more older anime available, I’m saying I have to be particular because people will literally lie to me in the comments and tell me I’ll like something when I won’t

I have a hard time recommending anything because you have seen most of it and I have watched thousands of anime. The only ones I can think of are old classics like Hajime no ippo but you guys seem to not like older anime for some reason.

As long as a good balance is struck I personally wouldn't mind how things are done, and the content is still really good. I came for the reactions but stayed for the personalities and the straight opinions on what y'all like and don't like about a show, so I will be staying regardless lol. So when I record and post there I get no traction. The old K dramas get more supporters than the old animes i’m not saying I won’t do all animes I’m just saying I need the right balance but I have to be willing to try more shows than I used to.

I love myself a good Isekai every once and a while, but there are many good but older shows that I'd love to see you guys react to. Y'all still cover much more less relevant shows than the average reactor, so I just wanted to voice my opinion there more than voice any problem I have.

I too have to watch the show first before watching any reaction to it, and I was attracted to this channel because of a show barely anyone reacted to at the time. I think that a part of the reason I love this channel more than other reactors is that they react to many shows that others wouldn't even consider picking up.

As someone who was originally here for yall's 86 reactions and stayed for the absolute hilarity of the personalities and the actually constructive afterwords, I have been only really been consuming the anime/western live action stuff you guys put out. If kdramas and isekais are just that much more popular I have no room to complain, but I just hope it doesn't cut down on the type of content that brought me here originally.

Like I said my policy is and always will be "Everyone make their own decisions". Slow year for me this for quality shows, at least this fall will be good for anime with Re:Zero coming back.

2024-09-12 23:04:49 +0000 UTCyeah i hear you Thamor, i dont talk about my why very much...but i have a 2 year clock remaining on this mindset and i have a wife and daughter...since starting this my wife no longer works as hard as she used to and she's very very very happy and my marriage is the best its every been, i'm constantly available for my daughter, i don't answer to much people so i am able to tend to her. in reference to the 2 year clock, i don't intend on grinding this hard when in 2 more years...I will still do content but i will switch more to sustain what i build and enjoy my time and my family, my daughter will be about the age, where we she will want to do activities. My wife I and I are going to vegas next year, and South Korea the following year. Money is only a tool for me, I am not focused on money. I'm focused on the quality of life and meeting my families needs. what I'm after is TIME. Time to do the things i want to do and money is the currency. The higher the value of my time, the less i need to actually work. I appreciate you as a subscriber and thats why i give you the response with intent. when i'm ready to just watch TV for the fun of it...generally i sit with my wife and do that But we watch Link Click for the fun of it, Domestic Girlfriend, Snowfall, and plenty of others throughout the year. You just dont really have a way to tell. I generally dont seek older shows though, i perfer modern shows, because i have large TV's that invested into, and i personally like the best graphics available. I can appreciate oldershows but if you allow me freedom to choose i will generally never choose older shows FOR THE MOST part. I am aware that older content tends to be better quality stories though...but i like the high definition graphics and best of modern art or animation. When i log on here, I log on as a Content Creator, so thats why you typically, see me pushing growth etc. Additionally Adorkable and Director are kept in mind and i make arrangement to continuously improve their life style, my editor just took care of his mother through my compensation and they live in a 3rd world country...or atleast one does...so people rely on me to make decisions that gurantee their income. 2 reactors, my wife and daughter, 4 editors, and and one editor is getting married next year... so this isn't about money, its about Time, Quality of life, and family.

As one of the maybe oldest subscribers on your channel I have totally seen your change from start. But at the same time, I only say what I say and you do what you want to do as my policy in life "Everyone do their own choices".

I loved witch from mercury and I enjoy Link click So while I may not have mentioned it we will still cover gems that match even if it doesn’t get more views. And it’s needed to prevent burnout every now and then covering something like domestic girlfriend whether or not I post it or not really jumpstart my love for anime I only cover for views with no passion I’ll get out worn out. You can tell the difference if you watch the reaction to domestic girlfriend as we are so invested in that show

I'm about to write WAY too much about a subject I'm mostly guessing on so let me preface this by saying I wouldn't even be mad if y'all didn't read this. I get it, there's a lot of us. I, obviously, have 0 experience running a successful YouTube channel (hell, I don't even really have experience running a failed YouTube channel) and I have no delusion that I am representative of how all people think, or even most people think. But it seems unlikely that I am completely unique either so I will share how I feel about reaction channels in general and you guys in particular. Much as I love your reactions and your perspectives, I have no interest in watching a reaction to a show I have never seen. I have not watched a single new thing from you guys for a hot minute (The Bear was the last ting I seen, and I don't remember what the last anime was. Shangri La Frontier?) because I just have no interest in the shows. You haven't fallen off, this season of anime fell off. For me anyways. The way I find new reactors is I just search for some show with a cool scene or two and see what comes up in the search history. If there is no cool show on my mind, I'm not gonna find anyone new. If I were to give an idea, and again, this is just personal opinion with zero data or testing to back it up because as far as I know no one has tried this, I would find interesting a slot a week dedicated to some show no one really reacted to. Maybe an older classic, maybe something that hit kinda hard. Because some times I do those searches and find NO ONE has reacted to that show. I mean, that's how I ended up in the Patreon. Wasn't anyone out there worth a damn reacting to Akudama Drive or Witch From Mercury and I wanted to see what else you all got. I'm gonna bet those shows did not individually get a lot of views compared to the rest of your library but maybe they got some new eyeballs on the channel like they did with me? It would be something slightly different to help differentiate you guys from other channels and maybe pull a few of us weirdos into the fold. I don't know. I like the channel and I hope it does well. Y'all do what you feel is best and that's all any of us can really do.

Maybe one option in the fall season is to react to the first episode and the top X amount with the highest views keep going. We can vote on Patreon but the proof is people voting with their eyes/views.
