Jamaican oxtail + oi kimchi (cucumber) If you go spicy on the oxtail, make a simple cucumber salad using sweet rice vinegar, raw garlic, and green onion. If you go milder, get a fresh cucumber kimchi. I'm a fan of the plantain, but there is also Korean style fritter dessert, usually sweet potato, but I'd try it with plantain. Or add a third culture, and make a plantain lumpia.
