I usually just rewatch the 1st part of what's wrong with secretary Kim because of the com3dy. But I appreciate the story and characters more now after watching your reactions and analysis. Thanks guys! You're the best!!!

2024-08-31 03:59:00 +0000 UTCI will never understand the parent's decision to live in this delusional lie for so long. One son is mentally broken, creating memories and stories of a past that never happened and lashing out at his brother, who actually suffered. The other son has to keep his suffering a secret, face constant berating for his own trauma, and work through that pain ALONE so as not to upset the delicate mental state of his family, who didn't even go through the same thing! I understand that he pretended to forget his memories, but the parents asking him to make up with a brother who hates him, KNOWING he is the actual victim, is disgusting work. If he genuinely lost his memories, it would make it worse because it would leave him in a position to feel extreme guilt for something he never did (bullying and abandoning his brother). How could that be healthy or fair in the parent's eyes? Their whole plan relied on the belief that neither son would be able to heal mentally.

2024-08-31 01:55:22 +0000 UTCFirst thought when seeing the kidnapper lady from the flashback was: "Damn she bad"...I feel validated with Director and Lee's reactions lol. On another note, young MC's talk no jutsu would've made Naruto proud

2024-08-31 00:49:29 +0000 UTCthe biggest issue i have with the mother and father deciding to turn the older brother in to the victim, is that they were witness to the years of resentment the older brother had for the younger brother and watched them grow apart because of the belief that one abandoned the other. then the mom is over here telling the younger brother to put in effort to make up with the older brother, knowing full well she put them both in this position. the resentment that the older brother had, grew over the decades, and you know he was mentally broken as he said himself he had flashes of things or memories of things that his own mind was making up in order to make this trauma make sense to him. that's so much to unpack when you realize that your own mind has been playing against you and your entire perception of reality was all a lie. then you find out that the very person who caused you this trauma was actually the victim and that they have also been lying to you.....at this point who do you trust? what do you trust? how can you even believe whatever your memories tell you now? as much as he was at fault, he is also a victim. the human psyche is just so fragile sometimes. that's why i'll always feel for both the brothers. even is one lashes out at the other, there is reason behind it. everyone just needs time to cope with their new truth now.

2024-08-31 00:00:16 +0000 UTCone of the main reasons why I still don't really feel for the older brother even with what we learned today , is the fact that he is the OLDER brother! He is an adult, and should be at a point in life to reason with himself and realize with logic that his brother would not have been able to save him from that situation because his brother is younger anyways! they would have probably been in the situation together and just both acquired trauma. The fact that at his big age he still blames his younger brother makes no sense to me. I just find him to be an actual egocentric and selfish person (which interestingly enough Yeong joon masks as). While Yeongjoon was happy that miso forgot everything and didnt have to suffer with those memories, the brother who actually has no memories of the event , played victim for years and blamed his baby brother who he already bullied , for abandoning him there. i just find that thought process so clownish. because, even with his warped memories, there is nothing YeongJoon would have been able to do to prevent the kidnapping. even if older brother's memory was actually correct, his behavior is still weird to me. decades later, he is still blaming this incident for all his shortfalls in life, and blaming his baby brother (who without his memories intact would have probably acquired some massive survivor's guilt and self hatred) for an incident that was not his fault. rant over

2024-08-30 21:45:41 +0000 UTCI will always love Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young for how they brought this drama to life but MAJOR props/kudos to the child actors in this drama. The flashbacks in the previous episodes and in this episode and next lets you know the breadth of talent they have, I was in awe. Love your reaction as always. I' so glad you enjoyed this one.

2024-08-30 21:23:19 +0000 UTCThere actually interesting for the most part. Perhaps because I watched kdramas, jdramas, and cdramas so often I tend to appreciate different and unique interpretations of different shows.
