Just want to remind people that criticm doesn't mean I dislike a show, i just have prefrences...I generally choose pancakes over waffles but if only waffles is present...I eat with a smile on my face...it also tastes good, but often lacks that buttery texture that great Pancakes have....and don't forget different syrups...many are good...but some are great.
I think the Humor of MR Queen is PERFECT...it JUST NEVER MISSES....Strong Woman Bong Soon has many moments of good humor but also has flat moments...that doesn't make it a bad show...but
but if i don't provide a map to follow, i will end up watching a show i hate and so far I don't HATE or dislike any particular series...some just have moments that dragged for me...and thats just objective criticsm

I know nothing about the other show that lost to this but i NEED you to know this show matches our tastes very strong in the first 2 episodes.
VERY STRONG start, so i am glad it won based on the 1st 2 episodes.
Couldnt have asked for a better first episode!
i know at the end of the day people vote for what they like, but what i like is so far the comedy isn't cheesy, its intricate, great actors, and the plot is interesting...now hear me out...Whats wrong with secretary kim actually has Cheesy Comedy but its sold WELL from the the ML Park Seo-joon he excels at that, and the office lady who makes the wierd faces...it works....
in contrast LOTS of other Characters in Strong Woman Bong Soon didn't carry those jokes well and the brother in Lovely Runner was not very interesting....
I don't mean to hate on shows, just letting you know what i think works and we all have different tastes.

A good hint that this show is leading through time manipulation. Lee Jong Suk and Suzy are literally using dreams to leap through timelines (Though a reason why Suzy's character might have that poster is because she felt like the Girl Who Leapt Through Time since she was a kid)

The only thing they have in common is that the main girls are physically strong but for entirely different reasons and it plays out completely differently as well. Weightlifting fairy is a sports slice of life romcom. The vibe is more similar to fight for my way.

I remember many people pissed at how that went (it was 50-50 too with "Team NDS" and "Team Good Boy" fans going at it.). Start Up is still a great drama, as like this they give you a lot of bang for your buck with meaningful episodes, and both keep up a fast pace.

The first one is I Can Hear Your Voice and the second one is Pinocchio. And all three of them have a lot in common such as the mixtures of the romcom and the suspense, some humor elements and it seems there are some connections in the occupations of the main characters in these three dramas, too.

It’s been some years since I’ve seen this drama and it took me by surprise that it was on the polls it’s an older drama and I don’t really see many reactions to it. Can’t wait to see if y’all guess the next clues in her dreams as you noted she only sees snippets. However if you notice from her notes she sees details such as dates times weather the bandaid the hair so it’s like seeing things super close but unfortunately by that you don’t see the full picture from far away. His dream was longer but more of a narrative he only remembered the date and the snow because she told him.

Pinocchio (same writer, same male lead) is another of my favorites. Character development, intriguing storylines and the mix of genres (rom com, supernatural, etc.) is what kdramas one of my favorite genres.

Then fate was like "hold my beer", by hitting her with multiple KDrama tropes at once. Car Kun, Trash boyfriend, and a coma? Clever use of the coma because to add insult to injury, her hair grew out.

Even outside of the visuals, the 1st ep was really engaging so it's a pleasant surprise!

Three of the main leads already made an impression on me. Same goes for DOTS. There is an order to new fans who don’t have the benefit of Nostagia. The FL is a runway model irl and really did awesome transforming herself for the role and is hilarious af. It's not as heavy as this one so it's not really that comparable but it's an overall chill, funny, wholesome vibes, with a few "sob" plots in between.

Suzy is such a queen, one of the best out there. I'm surprised to hear that you didn't felt that much Strong Woman, you seemed to have fun in those reactions. Also, I had the same opinion about the brother in Lovely Runner but I personally don't have a kdrama where I like all the characters, the brother had a small role anyway. I watch a lot of reactors, and they all have different tastes, and I try to recommend content THEY would enjoy. Mainly because I can’t bear to sit through a reaction someone visibly does not like. It’s notorious in the kpop community. I get so much second hand embarrassment when a reactor first discovering kpop, who for instance loves hip hop and rnb gets bombarded with loud fans recommending bts Dynamite and Butter 🤦🏾♀️. . .
