2024-09-01 06:44:31 +0000 UTCShuna did explain Rimuru's ideals, because she likes cooking and she admired Rimuru. Here's someone who had to figure Rimuru out (like all his followers). She was able to articulate in her own way what Rimuru was all about, while to Rimuru, this was something that came so naturally to him that he never needed to explain it to himself.

Now the teacher finds out that her teaching kouhai is not only king of a nation, but also a literal demon lord. Plus while the kids knew he was a monster, they just assumed when he said "his country" he meant where he's from, not the territory he owns and controls

The speech Shuna gave kinda "saved" Rimuru because he had to show how he deals with people, that don't agree with his values. Will he use force which most expects or diplomacy and Shuna showed everyone what Rimuru wants.

Also, considering how much Shion was downplayed this episode, between Frey, Elmesia and Shuna, there was plenty of spiritual pressure in the banquet hall.
