This Kdrama is still going on the main channel Yaboyrocklee and TVN was relentless with copyrights. (YES I HAVE A SECOND CHANNEL..it gets 1/3rd the support of the main channel per reaction so far...so will need to prop it up a bit from the main channel's status for a bit before i take the training wheels off of it)

Goblin - ICONIC MOMENTS, good story... Felt long at times. I have no regrets because the concept of the story has stayed with me and has offered value after watching, the Grim Reaper and Sunny along with the iconic walks...were just fantastic....

I've been rewatching "Are You Human Too" and suddenly realized, 'why haven't I thought to recommend this?' so - "Are You Human Too" - is KBS2 - non TVN & Studio Dragon - human/non human - android (can be a major turn off for some) - 18; 60 min eps - it's been divided into 36; 30 min eps on Viki (they're structured to be watched two at a time lol) - 2018 kdrama - human is the female lead - lots of humor! the silly type, exaggeration, etc. its a comedy - stress is not major, just the typical kdrama amount of drama lol - call it a rom-com - really gotta suspend your disbelief for the technology in it...(plays a major major role ahah...ha) I don't think the leads have been in anything you've seen before. Definitely some supporting characters have been in other ones though! I consider it a very easy watch, with no plot jumpscares. Plot is very predictable overall. I wouldn't consider it one of the best shows I've ever seen, but its def one of the favorites. That's how it is a lot of the times lol. I feel like I don't know where to akin it to something you've already watched...It doesn't remind of anything else. The romance isn't super romance-y, maybe due to someone being an android. It's more - cute/sweet/soulmate(?) kind of feeling imo. Others prob feel differently. Anyways, this show and a diff show called "Duel" (2017 - Scifi, non TVN/Studio Dragon - no romance, stressful, emotional, thrilling, violence, blood, yup, etc.) are both shows that I have rewatched multiple times. Hotel DeLuna (studio dragon) - this is a supernatural drama with romance comedy and a bit of historical flashbacks. This drama is about a hotel for ghosts that helps them move on and needs a human manager.

The MCs' acting is fantastic, and above all, the character of the top actress Jun Ji-hyun is fantastic. Also, the writer of this show wrote Crash Landing on You and Queen of Tears. The drama was so popular in Korea, China, and so on that it was almost like a social phenomenon. You can trust me -SUSPICIOUS PARTNER I don't think it's as famous as the other shows, but it's still a really good show. It's a romcom based on a crime scene, with fantastic acting by the main characters, good scripts, and their chemistry. Personally, I like this the most among ML's dramas. Those are the shows I recommend as a Korean. I'm sure you won't regret it!

The episodes are short, the pace is fast, the plot is neat and solid (the whirlwind feels like a makjang but for those who know that real politics is worse, this won't be a problem) and the ending is perfect These won't win the vote, but I like them and recommend them.

Loooooooved it and I really hope you react to it some day ^^ 2. Shopping King Louie (MBC & not Studio Dragon) 16 ep of ~ 60min - Comedy, Romance, Life, Drama. Really funny at times and a confort watch for me. 3. Healer (KBS2 & not Studio Dragon) 20 ep of ~ 60min - Action, Thriller, Romance. I love both leads and I rewatched it so many times in the first few years that some scenes are still crystal clear in my memory lol 4. SKY Castle (jTBC & not Studio Dragon) 20 ep of ~ 75min - Mystery, Psychological, Drama, Family, Social commentary. Due to the subject matter it was quite dark at times but it was also really gripping. I remember binge watching the 20 ep in 3 days. I haven't seen it in a long time and i'm totally down to watch your reaction to it! 5. Legend of the Blue Sea (SBS but Studio Dragon unfortunately) 20 ep of ~ 60min - omedy, Romance, Fantasy and a bit of Thriller. A really really fun watch. The female lead (Jun Ji Hyun) is both gorgeous and hilarious. I hope you react to it some day, even if it ends up being only on Patreon.

If not for a reaction, would recommend watching anyway! Especially since its on the shorter side for a kdrama lol.

Perfect Marriage Revenge (MBN)- revenge story done right. the chemistry between the leads was great too. 3. Dreaming of a Freaking FairyTale (TVING)- funny, romantic, cheesy at times romcom. the show's biggest draw for me was the insane chemistry between the two leads. my god i love them together on screen. 4. Signal - fast-paced, action mystery police-based, investigative drama, with a twist. season 2 was just announced a month or two ago. 5. Girl from Nowhere- (Thai, GMM, NETFLIX)- episodical mystery-thriller. it has a very unique, unconventional way of telling its story. it digs at the modern high school societal issues and its implications. this was one of the more important watch i've had recently obviously because of the subject matter that they addressed. also, thai production companies are usually lax with reactions so i'm positive it is going to be a safe watch.

Raw, real, emotionally charged live wire of a drama that feels like home. My Liberation Notes is powerful in its simplicity. i love this drama there's so many things that u can relate. maybe it can be slow for some ppl but for me it's rlly realistic and i rlly love it. done. all of these kdramas i've rewatching it for so many times and still love it so muchh. sorry it's too long :^)

2024-08-11 02:32:02 +0000 UTC"Youth of May" - is KBS - non TVN & Studio Dragon - original network KBS - 12 episodes (60-ish min each) - 2021 Kdrama - male lead is [Lee Dohyun] the Glory's male lead, & the glasses dude from Sweet Home - female lead is [Go Minsi] the glasses dude's (step) sister from Sweet Home - It is on Viki - healthy relationship between leads - the drama has a beautiful & sweet romance that is very forefront of the plot - not a romcom though...very much a drama & w/some forbidden love(?) - is definitely sad at times & definitely sweet at times It's a pretty popular show, but I haven't seen any reactions to it - people would probably show up for it? sorry the details I have on it aren't all that great - haven't seen it since 2021 lol. I just remember loving it and its story. It's also funny how the Sweet Home (step) siblings are a couple pairing in this show.

One of my favorites, Queen Bae Suzy, is in it. I love her and everything. Also it has Lee Jong Suk, another big korean actor whose shows always deliver. -Extraordinary You (MBC) Fun drama. I love the plot and the characters. Our girl Hyeyoon (Sol) is in this and other amazing actors. -100 days My prince is a stellar show with a top cast from leads to supporting it has the girl from My Name. -Dream High (KBS drama) the first one i just wanna see yall cringe it's an oldie about kids dreaming to be kpop idols it has one of the most iconic cast to date from our main dude from Queen of tears to the villain in Vincenzo and one of the top actresses these days Suzy and IU. The story is good but it's so laughable sometimes and it's just a fun cringe time. I kinda want y'all to go through the cringe all the kdrama fans back in the days went through together also all the actors got a huge popularity and it kick started their respective careers. -My Love From the Star This show is one of the OG kdramas it has Kim Soo hyun our lead from Queen of tears and Jun Ji Hyun a top actress who is beloved this show is a must watch for kdrama fans it has so many iconic lines and characters this was soooo famous back then it created a huge wave of craze and catapulted Kim soo hyun as the highest paid actor (which he still is) and Jun ji hyun became the highest paid actress. The popularity of this show cant be explained. It was huge. -Reply/Replay series (94,88,97) another iconic bunch the reply/replay series tells about Korea during those times from late eighties to the 2000 according to the year you guys will pick . It’s so interesting to see what Korea was like and how pop culture was like during that era. They do tackle heavy subjects here and there but it’s mostly about family and friendships and then the mystery of how they ended up as adults and so on would recommend 10000/10000 and it’s fun to see some mention about historical events and celebrity moments that we already know is going to happen and to kinda see how they reacted to it back then. -Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (MBC drama) is another fun watch. I love the chemistry of the leads. The banter they have is so funny and just a fun time. Also many iconic lines I still quote to this day. -Dr romantic(SBS drama has 3 seasons) is a really good medical drama, one of my favorites and the cast is stellar again from main to side characters. Sorry for the long list<3

Extra-ordinary you, not by studio or TVN, same actress as lovely runner, very unique kdrama concept and entertaining! I have a kdrama rec but for Lee specifically as I think you’d enjoy it the most, so I think you’d enjoy this in your own time. ‘Hi bye, mama’ is a really heartfelt drama about a woman who follows her daughter around as a ghost, and is then given a second chance at life. It’s TVN so maybe not a Channel reaction, but I personally feel like it’s something you would resonate with as a father. It was the best drama of the year for me.

So I only focus on the ones I’m asking for at that particular moment. My wife watches C dramas and I happen to watch with her. She has her own tastes and it’s different from mine. She wont finish QOT but Likes EVE way more. She likes the historical Asian Dramas or ones i find highly stressful. Lol. . I generally go with the flow. Whatever she is watching lol (like these reactions). On my own. I go all over the place. Random underrated kdrama, star warss, my ordinary family, because when i watch TV by myself. I am still working or something. I don’t pay attention to the whole show. I’ll share an experience but i cant take in all the suggestions i get because i get more than i can actually watch even on my own. And i just read. So just like i forget character names. Lol. I wont remember what was suggested. If dozens of people say the same thing. I evidently i will remember. If you say a trigger word like Kim Ji won. Than i have a higher chance of remembering because i am passionate about that and i am actively open to that.
