Ultimately that family would have failed and been homeless without him. He went over and beyond when it counted and grew from that and so did everyone around him

Like he never wanted her to die seriously is my interpretation n The wife was also far from perfect. They became cold but it was both. Also. The story and his character is rare opportunity for people in a rough patch to recover. I never into details but I found that very relatable. I am also very flawed and have improved myself as person, husband, creator, my health all that. So watching him rectify his past and fix his relationship was very important to watch

And i equally take into account his character growth (which was marvelous, there were quite a few things he did that people might have missed but i caught on). My point still stands... i totally understand him being on someones list but i cannot put him on mine and the stack contrast with the other men on the list made me giggle ngl. A show is meant to bring out emotions out of the audience and this show did just that. I also find it funny when someone says "yeah he wanted her dead but..." How does a "but" proceed such sentiment lol

But this is a drama, and I think you should consider the consequences of the character's growth through character development. Also, of course, Haein warned Hyunwoo first, but you should consider what you hear and what you actually go through is completely different. Also after knowing about Haein's family, Hyunwoo realized that he couldn't handle the situation and went back to his hometown. It was Haein who persuaded him to marry him. Of course, it was really wrong for him to be happy when he knew about her illness, but because he had suffered for a long time, all he had in his mind was "freedom," not "her illness." And when she finally said her symptoms to him, as shown in Ep4, he realized she was trully dying and hugged her. And at the end of this show, he literally sacrificed being shot instead of her. Overall, I respect your opinion. But my opinion is that you have to consider the character's psychology and the way it changes, as I said at the beginning.

QOT became my fav show overnight but sometimes when im in my thoughts and remember his actions, i still hold a grudge. He is a big reasons why a lot of people didnt get into the drama earlier on. And yes, Haein and her fam were a handful but not only did he know that, she warned him before they got married (experiencing it is different, i know). Love the show greatly but hoping your wife dies (amongst other things he did) had me flabbergasted and i just could not get past that. Even the way he constantly bad mouthed her to his friends while she had nothing but the best things to say about him even during their worst times was just heart breaking. He has amazing qualities and i wholely accept him being in someones list but i just cant put him on mine lol
