I understand your frustration, and I appreciate your passion for the shows we cover. Since I read someone passionately upset that "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" only airs twice a week and they felt ripped off when subbing, let me clarify a few things:
There is a posted schedule. I reference it often in the intro of videos, it's in the description of every modern YouTube video, and I pin it in the comment section of ALMOST every video.
This is a community-driven channel. We talk and have votes, and I update everyone on Patreon about what the plans are. So if you're coming fresh from YouTube, you might have missed that on your first run here. Nevertheless, there was a posted schedule long before you joined that includes both the YouTube and Patreon schedules.
We are a small team, and our channel goal is to serve our community with a variety of content all year round. We don't necessarily speed-run shows and move on to the next; we cover multiple shows at once so that the working person generally has something to look forward to every week, every month. I totally understand you want everything binged and uploaded ASAP so you can be possibly in and out to keep your hard-earned dollars, or you just wanna see your favorite show right away.
I serve Kdrama fans, anime fans, western live-action fans, and the many niches among those fans... AT ONCE. This happens to be our channel direction while others do things their own way. But aside from that, your membership gives you access to not only the show we are covering but EVERY SINGLE PAST REACTION. That's what I'm selling. I also take the time to update the inventory of reaction links so you can find these things rather easily.
Some of you join a Patreon to see a show and buy a product. I understand that and respect that. Patreon is intended to support the creator you like, and you get benefits as a result. It's slowly turned into a Netflix, Hulu hybrid, and the creator donation foundation is lost. I personally support creators that I may not always watch content for, I just love what they do and want to see them continue... but we know we gotta offer something... time and money are precious.
Finally, releasing 2 episodes of anything a week is fairly reasonable. "Lovely Runner" and "Queen of Tears" were releasing 2 episodes a week. "House of Dragons" and "The Boys" released 1 episode a week. While binge releases are a thing pushed by Netflix and many have followed, weekly releases are still a VERY, VERY common thing. DOTS gets 3 uploads a week, and that was chosen before WWWSK. Again, if you were not here during voting, you missed that influence, which is fine, but I hope you also understand where I am coming from.
Saying the channel doesn't like romcoms is interesting... lol... my top lists include mostly romcoms, and we cover that more than any other Kdrama genre.
Anyways, that comment is fine. I find that when one person feels a certain way, a few more people do, so I thought I'd leave this.
We love hearing from our community, and your feedback helps us improve. Thanks for your understanding and support!

2024-09-29 12:08:40 +0000 UTCAmazing reaction! I cackled when Lee got closer to the camera when Mi Too asked Joon if he wanted ramen, lol. and the brother was making himself the victim in front of his parents, so I think heβs used to do that to gain their favor while Joon puts in the hard work and stays quietβ¦ I canβt stand people that victimize themselves to gain sympathy. Ugh!

2024-08-07 01:54:13 +0000 UTCThe older brother gives backhanded comments and calls the consolatory. I also don't think he was as into Mi So until he knew she worked for his little brother (sorry I can't get the names today). Anyway I think he sees her as a way to add to the conflict between them, or I just don't like his because he sets off my danger alarm.

2024-08-07 00:56:50 +0000 UTCOn your last point, that reactors aren't streaming services, i completely agree. we pay to SUPPORT you guys, to enjoy your reaction and commentary, not as a replacement for OOO streaming platform. you work hard, and know that it is appreciated by so many, even if we may not be as vocal as others.

2024-08-07 00:36:31 +0000 UTCUggh his brother gives me severe creepy "nice guy" vibes. Plus the things he was saying and the way he was moving was giving less victim vibes and more victim complex vibes. I really don't want him to meet Mi So like he should stay away from her π

2024-08-07 00:15:23 +0000 UTCI tried very briefly to start doing reaction content and I had to stop 'cause it honestly takes so much time when you're first starting out and working another job. I basically would come home, start recording and work through 3-4 shows, edit what I could, go to sleep, then spend most of the next day finishing up edits and uploading while reacting to new stuff...yeah, I quickly said no thanks. Not to mention that it kinda sucked the fun out of watching stuff (at least for me, reacting solo), and I started to NOT watch things in case I might need to react to it. There's way harder jobs, I'm not saying there isn't...but it def ain't as easy as it looks, ESPECIALLY if you're still working other jobs. Mad respect to all the creators that have built up a following

2024-08-06 23:42:31 +0000 UTCI hope the person who commented all these things , sees this. Patreon is about donating money to support in the first place.. If you feel ripped off while subbing then, you didn't understand the moral of the story.

2024-08-06 23:39:45 +0000 UTCI think, when people vote, they donβt think about how many times a week episodes of this show will be released. They just want this show to win no matter what lol (me too tbh) Because, this opportunity comes only once to some shows π

2024-08-06 23:11:49 +0000 UTCWoohoo Iβm early for once lets go π also to add onto your captionβ¦ Weβve got to remember when we watch a creator watching a show thatβs only the time length of the video we are watching, for the people such as Lee watching the show; itβs the getting people together at the same time as some of them may have other jobs families etc, then the time to edit the show on top of that, a hour of our viewing pleasure is probably a days hard work for them so everyone please be mindful π€
