I'm team kana for many reasons but one very good reason is I think it would be much more healthy for aqua. She slowly brings out his old self and is ever so slowly helping him look to the future. Akane I feel like would enable him to dive further into this obsession and not be healthy for him. I don't think it's a coincidence that he thought of kana and ruby when he was trying to think of happy thoughts, but then akane is the one with him when he starts decending again back into darkness. Also this isn't a knock on her or anything I actually really like her, I just think she isn't what aqua needs

I kinda of flipped a little on Kana this ep cause Akane blew me away. Although I forgive her reaction cause like you said she knows now who Aqua is so she probably assumes that it has to do with Ai's death. For sure Adorksble spittin about Akane being able to deduce who the dad really is. π€ Purple hair boy gets the W for reading the sitch and stopping the fuck boy even if he got attacked for it. He has a real chance to grow and change and speaking of change Goa and sensei? π

I hope he demonstrates that heβs more than the adaptation he was in! Iβm rooting for him! Also, Akane is crazier than everyone in that show, no joke. We knew since she analyzed Ai like a psycho to embody her, but I like how the show reminds us of that once in a while. FANTASTIC REACTION. All the characters in this are very well written and all are very complex, even those that are βsmallβ. I love it.
