So if you don't like the show, we don't need to read about you not liking it or being disappointed with the lead or the ending. OMG... people yearn to complain about things. I should make a weekly post for people to go and complain together.
Second, we just started this week, and I LOVE IT. For comparison, just so you know, I like DOTS, and I LOVE THIS. Folks kept saying this was going to be a cringe show or that the humor is cringe. LOL... not to me. I find it hilarious, and it’s the best work I've seen from the homie Park, I must say. "Fight for My Way" and this show demonstrate more of his range than "Itaewon." He's the same, but not really LOL. So anyways, I really can't trust the feedback of the loud minority, because people just complain. But so far, so good... ZERO cringe. Although I understand why you might think it's cringe, I think it's funny... we all here do.

2024-07-26 19:28:35 +0000 UTCanother note, I always said I knew Lee personally would like this show for all the reasons I find it cringe and even said that despite my protests, it is his taste cause he likes cringe male antics lol i never finished it on my own cause it felt too trope-y, office rom/com, and could NOT stand PSJ here but I do understand why it's popular. I'm willing to give it another chance watching alongside them since it'll prob be more enjoyable watching someone else enjoy it.

I actually forgot. another note that is more of a translator note, the reason why she accidentally wrote Secretary Kim instead of Kim Mi So, is because the word for Secretary in Korean is Bi So. so...Kim Bi So is what she is called at work...it's basically like her sense of erasure and loss of self when she was embarrassed that she literally lost herself in her work by bringing her work home.

I understand regular debts like student loans but her dad adding on to the debts by being stupid is just another layer. I can’t imagine working for that long to pay for EVERYONES debts AND getting them through school, the resentment would be at an all time high.

Good drama by the way. Period drama, but unlike most where it's set in Joseon Period, it's set in World War II era during axis occupation. It's also very short too at under 10 episodes.

Been away for 2 weeks and I have sooo much to catch up on, but couldn’t wait to start secretary kim tonight lol DOTS is another I’m giving another shot because of y’all. I feel bad that it seems Secretary Kim carried her family for 9 years, the unnies better be doctors after all that time and she should not need a plan for a while they should carry her for a bit. Dude just love himself too much but you can tell it bothers him that she wants to leave. Even him asking his parents if they ever had any problems in their marriage they were so fake with their answer. Love your reaction can not wait for the next one.

He'll still be calling her whenever he wants and asking her to come to him no matter what else she has going on. He just strikes me as a line-stepper.
