I'm so glad you guys are still reacting to this. Many dropped it cause of the lack of action this season but I think really important things are gonna go down that they will all miss out on. 🤔 I really liked your analogy of the gold chain flex. Little extra info They skipped some dialogue, but with Gabiru and his father from season 1 he is "technically" exiled. However now Rimuru is a demon lord and Abiru is not an equal in the federation, but instead wants the protection of a demon lord. That is why it looks bad that he is on bad terms with his son (on paper) since his son is an executive leader under a demon lord. Basically Rimuru wants them to officially make up most for their personal reason, but also because it makes it seems like the demon lord and lizard men not are on good terms from the other species POV if they don't make up - The reason why they did not react to Rimuru's Haki but the 3 guys is because Rimuru ALWAYS holds back, when showing you his haki. Because a normal human or low level monster would die from being in his presence. Only Beni, Diablo and Shion would be able to be somewhat unaffected by the full force of his Haki of course Veldora is stronger so he can take it to and it is commen for monster not to hold back their aura as a sign of their status (kinda like in Frieren with demons mana) - Shion had less energy than the 3 guys so combined they have more than 3x times her magicule count so it was impressive she overwhelmed them. - Lastly they skipped Gobuemon intro which should have been 2 episode ago, but he is about as strong as Gobta maybe a little stronger, but he got no leadership skills which is why Beni made Gobta leader of the Goblin riders which made Gobuemon little jealous so he does solo mission since he won't serve under Gobta. Also Gobuemon got Rimuru old sword for protecting the merchant Mjolmire since Rimuru got a new one and Rimuru is trying to make Gobuemon more of a commander. Hope info was useful for someone, because dammmm i write so much when it's slime lmao

I think you almost pulled everything together. Something they're always pointing out in Tensura is that monsters are pretty straightforward in that they respect strength. So the bovoids and equinoids are not respecting Tempest's strength at all. They are too busy trying to prove their own in this war they have going with each other. Along comes the three sons of Daggrull. We know they caused trouble at home, but why did he send them to Tempest to train, of all places? He must have been impressed by Shion and Rimuru's fighting skills (small s). Another point constantly made in Tensura is that training and experience is more important than magicule level that they have naturally. My idea is that back at home these three guys are throwing their weight around acting like they are better than everyone else just because of their power level. They have no idea that there are people objectively weaker than them that can still defeat them. They are probably doing nothing to improve themselves, thinking there's no need. Daggrull sent them to Tempest to learn some humility and the benefits of hard work, because everyone trains in Tempest. When the bovoids and equinoids saw that, they realized that not only Shion could beat them, but that these strong Majin bent the knee to Rimuru must mean they are even stronger, thus also seeing the benefits of hard work and humility.
