In regards to Sweethome...i asked about it last week.....forgot...yesterday i asked for feedback on this list of shows and i didn't see anyone talk about it. I made a poll and then i saw it mentioned.....So its not on any poll at this time...If i hear the season is good...It will be reacted to....
It seems it lost steam with viewers....Personally i can always watch things on my own that viewers are not to hype about...
I can only react to so much things...i understand we did 2 seasons....i get it...but goal is to react to shows that satisfiy the most amount of people....and watch whatever folks don't care about on my own lol..,.
I watch that Starwars show that everyone complained about on twitter..and i watch it in peace...lol...its good for me...

2024-07-18 10:12:27 +0000 UTCI’m glad you are enjoying DOTS. I can’t pull up another military based drama quite like this one, at least that I’ve seen. It doesn’t make my top 10 but it is an enjoyable classic and good to have in the library for the shows that shaped modern kdrama.

2024-07-17 18:36:13 +0000 UTCI'm talking about Hometown cha cha cha winning the last poll and now being on par with 2521 which was on 5th place in the last poll. I think 2521 is a wonderful show, didn't think it was ever boring. It's a slice of life but it's a well written emotional roller coaster through and through. The characters don't feel flat, they have some depth to them and they're really well acted. I could totally see our trio getting invested in them. I know a lot of people don't like the ending, but I think the show as whole is good enough to make up for it. And i personally didn't mind the ending, it was realistic.

2024-07-17 15:45:51 +0000 UTCYeah, I love C dramas too but the episodes are usually at a minimum 24 episodes and that's a short amount of episodes for a Chinese drama. Any modern dramas with more than 24 eps are usually not that good. The historical and fantasy dramas are where they flourish. They are often super well acted. The cinematography and writing are usually on point. But the older ones can get up to 50+ eps and the newer ones have a 40 ep limit usually (can get past this by making it a 2 parter with a year in between).

They expected him to be bad, he was raised by a villain and thus he became truly what people expected. Which was reinforced when his actual bad tendencies showed its face. People would be like “see we know your evil!” Lol. I know i always like Villains but he is the best written character in that show and among the best Actors of the main cast only rivaled by Lionel and i gotta Say Johnathan Kent.

And of course the side characters love story. But you are right. The ending is flat out 😒😒 and I hate that I know the end at the beginning. Funny thing is, I still get some kind of hope about them 🤣🤣🤣 I hated it soo much that I will never recommend this drama to no one 😅 but rest assured that this drama will win one day. And its okay because for that actress only , the drama deserves to be watched.

I liked it too, just didn't love it and wouldn't put it in rewatchable for me personally. Just wanted to point out that nostalgia tends to skew ratings. Still gonna rewatch it with you guys, see if it gives me a fresh take. You guys have done that for a couple of other shows for me coz im the only one in my friend circle who watches kdramas so got no one to goddamn vibe with!😭

Im often so anxious because kdramas can become a bore to watch if the story Is not something that seems captivating enough. the episodes are usually so long that it has to be something, the person watching , would actually enjoy ( you ) And I was afraid you would not be entertained and that it would make the reactions not fun for you . For me it wasn't for the second watch when I put myself in yall shoes.. I could not even finish it because of it .That's were the anxiety came from. Im happy im wrong 😂😂 since I dont watch anime , I really did not know that military, foreign policy affairs and UN was your favorites topics. Id be happy the see your critics of this then. You usually bring up interesting views, so ill wait and see if I like it better. If not, ill just skip this one and wait for the next poll patiently 😅.

But he absolutely sold his role and was fun to vicariously live through. I think Twinkling Watermelon is fantasticly written but i do not connect with the characters and the drama much. So its a great show. That i would forget about out personally. Lol. However it remains a pillar for good writing. So i dont regret the experience but wouldn’t advise any of my friends to watch it. As i would lovely runner. Which really is only my wife and Sandy’s sister lol. My friends dont watch kdrama

2024-07-17 13:03:40 +0000 UTCHello, i wont disclose how far i am. But i do like DOTS. We all do. Its 60 minute episode lengths. Minimal dramatic pausing where nothing happens. (Which is my single greatest issue in dramas). The 2 male leads are Handsome, about business, funny and captivating. Both lead actresses are funny, pretty, and fiesty. They are dealing with Millitary, UN and Foreign policy affairs. Its my favorite subject if you watch Slime the anime. I have nothing but compliments so far. Kim Jiwon is also one of my favorite actresses personally Oh and I’m only answering this because people are trying to figure out what I like or don’t like. I will admit I will always prefer a modern drama over an older drama. The lighting is just visually better to look at. Our subscribers want to watch shows for nostalgia and I’ve already experimented enough that the view count is generally better by satisfying what people want to watch. If people are not into the new shows I can watch that on my own. Unfortunately I do not know people do not watch new shows

Me included - grew up watching smallville for example and rewatched it a couple times. But after a certain point, when i tried to rewatch i couldn't anymore coz i was getting too frustrated at certain things like Clark being self righteous a lot of times ('you should listen to me as i know what's best even tho i'll blatantly lie to your face constantly'. lol tryna have his cake and eat it too). It still has a special place in my heart because the upsides and the nostalgia make up for the flaws. You can have nostalgia but be aware of it so you reduce it's effect on objectivity.

But is it going to be among their faves ? Nah. Business proposal was heavily inspired by this drama. So its funny like that. But I'm serious when i say that I think they will not enjoy Descendant of the sun as much. Im pretty anxious for this month picks ... Lets get through this together 😂 and I advice some people to go back and watch the things they pick. It might not be as entertaining as you thought it was when you watched it couple of years ago. I did it. DOTS was a disappointment . Cannot wait for the day we are done with all these popular but mid dramas , so that legendary works like WWYS get a chance.

It sounds like kind of a basic rom-com, but I think she really brings something special to all her roles. Shin Min Ah (Hometown Cha Cha Cha leading lady) also has a lot of charm!

The female lead is strong and interesting, and I think you all will really like her -- plus the chemistry between the leads is legendary!
