The timing, choreography, sound design, art, and story telling are exceptional. And I love the unexpected brutality, it makes the fights more thrilling and dangerous than your standard shonen.

2024-07-14 02:52:47 +0000 UTCItβs funny how during the initial discussion, Lee and gangs were saying this is like those shows where kids were fighting adults one on one, and the anime in the same episode addressed that issue by letting us know that the kids ARE fighting adult but struggling. It took the 3 of them, especially Tokiyuki to wear down the uncle, making him too tired to fight normally and losing afterwards. Thatβs the sense of realism that I like about this series. And thereβs no S.O.B. scene asking why the uncle betrayed him and his brother. Just straight behead the betrayer and offer him to those he betrays.
