By the way, you have Stevie and Frank mixed up. Stevie was in the Christmas episode and he was the husband of Carmy's cousin Michelle Berzatto. We haven't seen Frank yet and he doesn't show up in Season 2. Frank is the Fiance of Richie's ex.

So, in that sense, she was a bit arrogant, thinking she could handle all the work by herself, which is similar to what Chef Terry went through before opening her current restaurant.

The restaurant Richie is staging at is in Chicago and is called Ever, which is the name of the real restaurant where this episode was filmed. The real restaurant has never actually been named "best restaurant in the world", but it does have two Michelin stars, and it is one of the finest restaurants in Chicago and the country. A dinner for two at the real Ever is gonna run you around $1,000 or so - $325 per person for the tasting menu, plus another $100 or so for wine pairings, plus tax and gratuity. So if you're a high school teacher and you get your meal comped at a place like this, it's a pretty freaking big deal.
