2024-07-02 13:26:28 +0000 UTCIf i can be honest. I think that was the motive. The bias against them haha. So you didnt wanna let an ounce of their defense sit. I am aware of their corruption and had negative experiences as a youth. Generally my experiences are positive. My neighbor is a police officer. I got 2 of them. and i generally worked with them often when i was a Youth Director and partners with PAL. I also live in an area that diminishes negative interactions in my case. Because I firmly believe location impacts our experiences to a certain degree.

2024-07-02 13:25:15 +0000 UTCBut I will agree I do have a bias against cops since 90% of my interaction with cop have been hostile and blatantly racist and I don't have any criminal record nor was I involved in anything criminal and I'm talking about florida in the 90s LAPD and NYPD are two of the worst departments and this is 80s LAPD

I think i 100% agree with you. I just wont defend a known drug dealer who sells crack. I am aware the cops also did wrong though. I also understand they have racial motivations. I think we talked on that too. I just donβt have sympathy for drug dealers. But logically will always be opposed to police abusing their power. Both exist at the same time. No police brutality. No compassion for drug dealers lol. Both exist. Haha. I rooted for Cambell too against those peaky blinders hahaha

Police should not destroy your home and they need evidence is what i believe. My How i feel is differently watching the show cuz i know whos a drug dealer. I know the type of drug they sell and who killed who. So as a viewer, i donβt care as much what happens to Jerome because i know that heβs guilty. You can hear the distinction cuz i generally make it a point to do so cuz i saw this comment a mile away coming haha

2024-07-01 23:17:57 +0000 UTCThat "one of the good ones" line always infuriates me. Yes, Andre is on the right side of the law, but that doesn't excuse the police from their inner issues. I'm reminded of when they beat up Franklin's dad for sleeping on the corner of Exposition when Alton was homeless. Also, Dre even breaking procedure when he tried to force an alibi on Louie in the interrogation room. Side note of irony, it's ironic how Franklin said that Andre became a puppet of the white man, and Andre's actor becomes a literal puppet for the white man in the movie Get Out.

2024-07-01 23:15:32 +0000 UTCAlso just a heads up yall keep saying Jerome is a drug dealer and that mildly excuse their destroying of his property they have no proof he is a drug dealer and they treated the people in the actual drug house better than him the point is he was a big black guy living a better life than most of them and they wanted to put him in his place and Andrew enjoyed it he don't care about what's right for the community anymore he hates Franklin for how his daughter feels about him and the fact he getting away with his crimes like the murder and how he was embarrassed with the Louie interrogation he wants them to suffer
