2024-06-30 22:26:37 +0000 UTCFor umemiya, the gardening thing is interesting because it's kinda metaphorical for the entire school (while also being his hobby in reality). ALL of the Furin students have plant related names (legit EVERYONE in furin, from first years to third years, including tochimoto from class 4 the guy who gave the keel photo to anzai lmao), so it's like umemiya is metaphorically taking care of the entire school when he's gardening. he's introducing the upperclassmen to the new first year captains at the same time as introducing his new plants that have been safely transplanted. you know, kinda like how Sakura has safely started to settle into this new town and new Furin school.

2024-06-30 19:28:06 +0000 UTCIt was a really casual finale episode lol, but at least s2 is coming in 2025! cloverworks had to flex one last bit of animation with the stairs lol I like how it showed Anzai didn't just get bodied, he can actually fight, his priority is just getting his friend out and that costed him since his friend is not getting out. it's interesting how at first he just wanted to bring nagato to talk and ask his side of the story but after seeing how he behaved with keel, the goal changed to "getting his friend outta there".
