They show that she makes an annoyed face anytime Kafka mentions Leno helping him get his life back on track and she also makes a pissy face when Leno revealed in this episode that he knew about #8 when she didn't. They went through the trouble of animating all those fine details but then it felt like they didn't really do anything with it despite how important that is to their dynamic.

Are you gonna just trust it because it helped you a couple of times after centuries of terror from the others or are you gonna be cautious?

2024-06-20 15:29:54 +0000 UTCI half expected Kafka to come out a little earlier but when the flash backs started I knew he wasn’t gonna come out til later. They need to show what the captains were capable of. (And to maybe up their pride a little and be slow to accept Kafka. )This episode Kinda showed that with team work, we don’t need to fully depend on Kafka but when we’re low and down, he’ll have our backs! I just kinda hope that it doesn’t drag out like 3 episodes for them to realize what they have is good. For example: Naruto: just when the fight is getting REALLY GOOD *bam* you’re hit with another flash back. 😫

It's weird to blame em for attempting to accomplish its goal regardless of the outcome of his fight. Also, man's was lowkey jumped by the entire extermination force when he was only using the lower kaiju as projectiles. If anything, the humans were being dishonorable lol
