Tortured? Eviscerated. Only his lieutenant has been seen to survive, while /somehow/ the test was continuing and the other junior officers went to hunt on the sly. And, I mean, the boss monsters are bold-faced liars and left their soldiers at the mercy of the Keepers, so I dunno if they can be considered to "hold ideals." So, like, there's people with ideals, and there are absurd entities that make their power everyone else's problem.

2024-06-10 20:57:27 +0000 UTCWill say the show seems to have received the same treatment Bleach did before TYBW such as some dialogue scenes removed this could be part of the reason of why some things feels off. Also the violence has been made more tame, for example the cat is more obviously messed up in manga and Shions' brother falling on the anime compared to being torn apart. Not saying it's bad, still love it.

The story so far is everyone trying to enforce their own idea of justice, eye for an eye is blues in this case From his pov he’s protecting someone and his team he cares about. From the viewer and D POV he’s torturing a comrade or character we are attached too The show is set up to make us cheer for the fighters by how they show the rangers but really in general there is no good sides there are just people with ideals
