It also just makes sense to be posting content that the most people are gonna watch.
So anyways.
With Lovely Runner as the clear winner of the previous poll.
Its our opportunity to see if the community prefers romance or no.
The decision is with yall.

Its very hard to watch a show get 4k views and the romance getting 8k and deciding….to not cover romance as much…what? Hahaha
I personally don’t have an action show I’m excited about as of now because I generally automatically cover the ones I see that are good.
If its an older show.
I dont have a personal investment as i prefer newer shows anyways . (Older ones have been good as of late though)

I honestly don’t understand what else you guys expect Lee to do. He asked you guys which one do you guys want a reaction of . The majority chose Lovely Runner. You don’t like Lovely Runner (for whatever reason) cool that’s your opinion. However it’s bit presumptive and a little bit arrogant to think that they won’t like Lovely Runner especially since they haven’t even seen it or even gave their own opinions on it themselves. Bottom line is this . I can understand the feeling of disappointment that a certain show/drama that you personally love was not picked . However these polls were done as democratically and diplomatically as I think that Lee could have made it. Your drama didn’t get picked . There’s always next time. There’s no reason to be rude and disparaging about other people’s taste in other shows or dramas especially if you wouldn’t like it if the roles were reversed.

How can it not be providing results and simultaneously be the show that most ppl are gonna wanna watch according to the polls? Is patreon not a source of income? Does pleasing patreons not provide good financial results? If so, why listen to them at all? I am not a fan of anyone though, I’m here for content. This is all very much transactional. Ofc their reactions and enjoyment make a big difference, otherwise I wouldn’t watch them. But if I don’t care for what happens in a drama, then I’m not gonna care for how they react to it either, it goes hand in hand. So I’m not recommending and voting for WWWSK just bc it fits their taste profile. I don’t think you’re being a hater (edit: actually no, you’re def being a hater towards the drama) but I think you’re being too presumptive. Like I’ve already explained, liking or disliking certain tropes/premises, settings etc. is not the end all be all for whether you resonate with a show or not. It’s not that black and white, it never is. A lot of shows they’ve liked over the past 2 years since I first subscribed have been unexpected, Kdrama or not. A lot of anime they enjoy has high school elements so whose to say they couldn’t possibly ever enjoy it in a real life setting. And just bc something fits their taste profile doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll like it either. You can never be a 100% certain. So I’m still gonna recommend and vote for a show that I like and that is popular bc there is a chance they might like it as well. And then it’s a win win situation. I’m not against stating your opinion on how they might feel about a drama based on things they’ve said but when you’re going “you will be disappointed!!” That’s when you start speaking for them and not giving them the chance to decide wether they like it or not by watching it. And that just doesn’t sit quite right with me.

And for those people attacking Lovely Runner just because it's popular and the main lead is attractive, yall funny. nine time out of ten the main leads are attractive in kdramas lmao. Cha Eunwoo is one of the most beautiful preople I have ever seen but there's still no one recommending his drama with the dog. You know why? Cause it's shit. People can decide for themselves. Just say what you love about your choices. You don't need to attack other people for not liking the same thing as you.

I am saying I don't think they're comparable at all lol personal opinion aside of whether I like the show, I just didn't think it fit their taste profile to be reacted to. @strangeandsleepless at the end of the day what I'm here for in a reaction is the commentary and a genuine reaction, not just to see people watch a show I've already seen and enjoy, sometimes I watch shows I've never seen and end up enjoying them more because of their reactions. Like I said before, if that were the case, I wouldn't be paying a tiered sub. Lovely runner just finished airing so it will obviously win the polls but i dont think you guys will enjoy it (i personally expected to but didnt)

It's not groundbreaking, but I found it enjoyable and it's likely to get the most views. My first pick, though, is Happiness. From a quick search first episode reactions for it got 1k-35k views. It may not get the most views, but it's a show where I'd love to see your reactions and opinions about the characters and their decisions. While views are def important, I think it would be cool if you did one Kdrama for the views and another based on personal interest or our recommendations, even if it might not get as many views.

Move to heaven Lovely runner Descendants of the sun - personally i think it did start to drag a bit halfway through but still a good watch. I would recommend Still 17 and 100 days my prince aswell but i don’t know how popular they are.

These dramas may not get much recommendation but try putting it on poll against these recent kdramas and these will have high chance to win and people are going to watch it. Like, no one really mentioned FFMW but when you reacted to QOT people remembered it and you can see how strong it was on the polls.

The main reason for it's popularity is because of their unmatched chemistry with perfect direction. It's dumb to say that ml being handsome is the sole reason as he's been in the industry for 8 years, but just now getting recognition. It's the CHARACTER and MUTUAL LOVE plot, people fell for in LR not just the pretty face 😅😭

Imo, asking people to recommend shows based on the reactors taste is not a reasonable/realistic demand, especially bc most ppl aren't even gonna be keeping up with them like that to know their tastes that well. Also, wether or not a show resonates with you doesn't always depend on genre, setting etc. Some shows you watch expecting to hate bc the premise and what not is really not your cup of tea but then for some reason end up loving anyway. Imo it mainly depends on wether they'll connect with the characters or not and there is no way to predict that. I didn't think they were gonna like business proposal at all but they did. And let's be fr for a second, out of all shows they've watched so far which were all suggested/voted by the community. How many did they not fuck with? 3-4? I don't remember the exact number but it's nothing compared to they shows they've enjoyed. So even if they end up hating lovely runner, it's unfortunate but is it really that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, that we need to go against it being chosen to this extent? I really don't think so Let them decide if they like it or not.

In order to get significant views they need to react to a drama that viewers would actually want to rewatch. Because as much as they may enjoy a drama or an anime or whatever, if it's not getting views it's like they could have just enjoyed it on their own time instead.

It may not be everyone’s taste but the majority definitely enjoyed it. it was mainly due the male lead and his “adorable personality” that made the show so popular. The story and the couple’s dynamic was interesting nonetheless, I don’t enjoy romcoms that much but this one definitely kept me hooked! I would love to see what you guys think about this show.

Not saying the shows are similar, not saying the shows are bad, it just doesn't fit what they've hyped up in the past, it doesn't have that sumin energy. All the people hyping up lovely runner are saying it's a great show, the main characters are great actors, etc, without taking into account who the watchers are gonna be. I'm not gonna recommend rick and morty to my parents, nor would I recommend succession to my 9 year old cousin. Not every great show is great for everyone

I would probably have watched it if I wasn't do emotionally scarred by his role in 21st Century Girl and that movie absolutely wrecked me. I get and completely understand why people are excited to see Byeon Wooseok in a role where he doesn't get unalived. That doesn't mean it's a good show and I've seen people try and say it's better than QoT but when you look at the viewership and target audience, it's probably obvious why it performed better in some areas...who watches TV the most? Unemployed young adults...with...phone addictions...sooo....those ratings make sense for the audiences in mind. As far as me recommending Our Beloved Summer, I explained myself that I didn't personally like that as much and consider it mid, and I didn't even recommend it? I said it fit more on this poll than the other shows in comparison to Lovely Runner, it just doesn't make sense cause it's obviously not comparable to these shows. It's going to win out of spite based on viewership representation. I actually feel the same way you do about Our Beloved Summer, but when I look at the YouTube scores coupled with the romcom elements they do enjoy...it does include that, and begrudgingly, I know they would like the toxic elements and the character growth arcs. It's not at all painfully slow in the way shows like Goblin are. It is slow paced, but it is not a slow burn. They don't like SLOW BURN. It's actually spicy and youthful, and the romance pacing is not at all lackluster. My DOTS comment was a sympathy comment if anything to be nice to those viewers but ultimately, if I were to be selfish, I'd say scrap all of these shows on the poll as none of them except WWWSK? fit their taste profile lmao Anyway, this season of kdrama is looking dour, and I'm finding myself drifting away from current runs and glad for the lull to revisit some classics I missed chasing the recency hype of shows that don't even linger in my brain half as much as shows I watched in 2012...

They probably will enjoy Lovely runner. And they would probably like any of the dramas on this poll more than Our Beloved Summer. While I love the actors, that show is super slow and not in a good way, while I enjoyed it, it drags A LOT. They also already did a poll with the dramas you mentioned and they lost. You mentioned adorkable not liking long melodramas then recommended Our Beloved Summer, like come on. I can’t say much about DOTS as I haven’t watched it.

The drama script have been thrown around for 3 years, getting offered to and rejected by various famous young actors. Then went to the actor who finally casted to play the male lead and he finally got the recognition after 10 years of his career. Not only that, he also sing the songs of the fictional band in the drama himself and one of that song just got in to Billboard Top 200😆 Also the actress who played the female lead also finally got the recognition she deserves after 12 years of her career☺ I'm saying this, because they both are well known but as models/supporting actor-actress. While their real passion is acting, and they both did graduate from film major in university, they both keep working as supporting roles for 10 and 12 years respectively. And finally, well... Here we are😍 And now, hopefully, getting the recognition they deserve from my favorite reactors trio 🥰

It's just the most recent one that i dislike because they keep comparing it to qot and hyping it so much so when i watched it i had high expectations and got so disappointed. I also see the ml's face everywhere and captions all about his face and height not even his acting that it's gotten to the point where it's annoying.

Putting a recent show with mid time pieces....it would have made more sense to put it with something like DOTS and Our Beloved Summer by themselves... I personally am not sick of romance, I see some comments saying that, I think it's being misinterpreted as you not liking the the drawn out swirling camera moments or looong crying sad moments of goblin but you still enjoy the lessons and the story that comes from that sort of drama. So people are thinking you don't like romance, but you do enjoy rom coms and some melo-romance, just not that overly drawn out sad stuff. I can tell it's viewers not familiar with the channel. Viewers not used to you and DN being rom com maniacs and probably don't know that it's actually Adorkable who doesn't like long Melo romances the most(I don't blame her). Anyway...none of the other shows on here are even remotely interesting or noteworthy so just go on and pick Lovely Runner but be disappointed lol Don't say the loyal fans didn't actively try to warn you, it will not be your taste profile. You might get shook by some of the story lines but...it's really only popular because of the hot male lead. That's the real reason. People can yap all they want about its surprising story lines...but it's literally cause the male lead is hot. He's literally a walking wet dream to these young twenty somethings all up in the comments defending it to the death and begging and pleading and swearing up and down that it's worth the watch...it may be worth it but that doesn't mean that these guys are gonna give it a genuinely good watch. I learned my lesson pitching SFH to them, they did not enjoy it the way it was intended cause it made Adorkable uncomfortable and if they're not having fun, it ruins the entire reaction for everyone...this is me being humble. Please stop voting for these shows they won't like.

It's definitely not, the twists and turns with every plot in every episodes are soooo not predictable. It's different from Twinkling Watermelon. So all I can say is, some of the opinions that said Lovely Runner is a mid or not so great drama are not coming from people who really watched it😄 I dare say, that if you guys watch it, you'll scream and have opinions for those twists and turns in each episode😆 Even I, after watching the twists and turns with the epilogues in the first few episodes, did watched it again from the very start to watch it from a different perspective😍

I actually like it the best among all the kdrama genres It's just that the Kdramas that are highly requested are romcoms that mostly have the same tropes and just overhyped. The overhyping just irks me but that's what the majority wants so i can't do anything about it. I really like you as reactors so i'll still watch whatever it is that gets chosen.

There's definitely a balancing act between watching quality shows, getting views, and watching shows that fit our tastes vs your own. That being said, I definitely recommend Healer as one to watch for you guys, or anyone in this comment section.
