Don’t forget the copyright part in regards to alchemy souls. There is enough kdrama under 21 episodes to not be considering 30. Its a lot to lock down a spot that only has 2 shows. The animes are not only shorter in length but have the most dedicated slots. And and the multiple seasons animes we cover have proven large fanbases and are stables. I can see their performance on other reaction channels Most of these K dramas do not have enough sample sizes to look at so I have to start an experiment the result on my own and 30 episodes of one hour content is I would greatly hesitate on Given the fact that I have other options. Lovely Runner. It has nugu actors but still became the most famous kdrama right now. It's ratings being the highest for a 2024 drama tells how good it is. I'm sure you guys will love it. It would also have more viewers because it's in the hype right now.

DOTS or WWWSK, I know yall like to recommend hyped up shows and I get it but I don’t want them missing out on the old gems that I know for sure they will love! I want to believe that they should give it a try🥰 Lovely Runner has been received ridiculous pessimistic reviews even before it's released, even I hesitant at first to watch it. But I gave it a try and it's definitely different from people's negative expectations😍 I could imagine how Adorkable and Director are going to argue about plot twist theories 😆😁

I think you're mixing up comments from PSJ and SJK. SJK is the one who did both of the things you mentioned, PSJ is largely unproblematic, he's just a cringe character in the show that people want him to react to for me but other than that he's literally never done anything remotely cancellable...cancel culture is a fad nowadays invented to create fanwars and publicity. SJK really is the one who needs to just retire, he's a has been and openly complained and said he thinks his work isn't being received well in recent years because he got married and essentially says that women are the reason his career is failing. He's just old and embarrassing. Just to clarify that end. Now, onto why I think people don't agree with Lovely Runner winning these polls...it's that it is targeted at young women and female audiences and so I can see why it's largely popular and winning the polls....but it doesn't have the reactors in mind and it winning the poll makes me really uncomfy with the viewership audience of this channel because it's showing me that an embarrassing number of younger unpaid patreon accounts are voting and skewing the results. I genuinely do not think paid and older viewers are voting for this show. Not to say that older viewers don't enjoy shows with lots of romantic fluff and giddy vibes, I just do not think this is YBRL vibe or aesthetic and as much as I hate WWWSK? and dropped it, I do in fact think it is the best show on this list that suits their taste profile and will get the best reaction out of them. Second being Our Summer because of its ratings and the actors involved. Everything else on this list is just a selfish request and does not at all have the team in mind and I will stand firm in that opinion that the viewers voting for this are selfish and inconsiderate in terms of valuing the time cost and production cost of us getting hefty set of reactions and quality shows at that! With that I will no longer comment on this in particular but I sincerely hope that more people take it into consideration that it's not worth it to force them to watch a show that is ultimately just another time sink over something they'll actually provide sufficient commentary on and ENJOY. I don't wanna watch a stiff reaction with little to no commentary or insightful thoughts. If I wanted to watch that, I wouldn't be paying for a membership.

Because to me it makes the most sense for the two polls to contain the shows of the greatest popularity. By removing romance from a particular poll, I also removed the greatest category of viewers and that hurts the performance of that selected show. Kdramas are 60-90 minute. We are hoping to get the highest amount of viewers for that commitment

Forever I'll vote for Beyond Evil, because based on the live-action shows you guys like (kdrama and otherwise) I think you'll all really like it. And also I just really want to watch y'all freaking out with how insane its character dynamics are. It's coming off of Netflix soon, so you might have a limited window to watch this one. DOTS is supposed to be great and I know it's very popular. It's written by the same writer who did Crash Landing On You, I think, so since you loved that show, you'll probably like DOTS. (I haven't seen it.)

Totally agree. The twists and turns in every episode is so not predictable. And even, for me, after the plot twist and surprising epilogues, I watched it again from the first episode to see it in another perspective 😍 It was that good, plus it's not at all about high school. Few first episodes set in high school, but as it's progress, it was about those relatable details in the drama that make me LOL😁

Some people may think Lovely Runner is another timeslip drama like Twinkling Watermelon. But NOOOOOOO... It's definitely not, the twists and turns with every plot in every episodes are soooo not predictable. It's different from Twinkling Watermelon. So all I can say is, some of the opinions that said Lovely Runner is a mid or not so great drama are not coming from people who really watched it😄 I dare say, that if you guys watch it, you'll scream and have opinions for those twists and turns in each episode😆

I really like Lovely Runner, because it's totally my genre and reminds me why I love kdramas. I don't know if you guys would like it, I know for sure you won't put it on the list of the best kdramas you reacted, but I don't think you will hate it eather. It's an easy watch, with comic elements and a little bit of mistery. Nothing too crazy, but something that can make you smile e feel good. I know you're tired of romance, but this show is still really famous and getting hyped so I think this is the best moment for you to react to it. <3

I watch all of their reactions, even the shows that are not my favorite. From out of all the choices, What’s wrong with secretary Kim is definitely their type of shows. It has the drama and the romance and the toxicity. Lovely runner is definitely cute but I don’t know how it is surpassing secretary Kim, knowing their tastes. Our beloved summer was genuinely boring after a few eps. The plot is similar to queen of tears. Move your heaven is short but great show. You can definitely watch it in your own time same goes with beyond evil.

I get it. OBS isn't slow paced at all or "not funny". It isn't the stereotypical tropey romcom/drams (which I still love) for sure and I wonder if it's because it was done by Netflix. I say that as someone who is not against some "slow paced" shows, but my attention span isn't the greatest so it's usually not what I look for in Kdramas. Now, if we're talking Chinese dramas, then we can talk "slow paced". I actually think they would really like OBS, but I also think they'd like WWWSK as well. Quality wise, OBS is superior.

I watched few eps of Lovely Runner and it's really not on par with QOT. I had to force myself to watch lovely runner because it was so hyped i wanted to know what was the reason but I just got disappointed because i couldn't relate to it at all and the statement that it's on par or better than qot's nothing but cap. As much as I would love to see more Lovely Runner reactions since it has also became one of my all-time favorites, I think the show's popularity mainly came from its targeted audience (Young Adults) due to its relatability. Not to say others can't enjoy it as well but based on the types of kdrama yall have been watching and enjoying, I do think that maybe this show wouldn't be as impactful to you guys so, I'd rather see you enjoying a show more your speed.

i personally think you would enjoy dots more, but lovely runner is very hype and will probably yield the best results number wise for you. i enjoyed it but i don't think it's your kind of drama tbh. my personal choices would've been our beloved summer or move to heaven, but i also am not too sure how you would enjoy either of those. they can be pretty heavy or very dramatic. dots or secretary are most likely more your speed.

im guessing this was a reply to the reply of my og comment (?) but ive mentioned that im actually not a teen love kdrama person, im more to mystery/thriller/horror - Beyond Evil is actually one of my top kdramas of all time (hurts that it's at the bottom of the list with move to heaven😭😭) but sometimes i go for a genre change to romcom, usually if the romcom hv other stuff like fantasy/mystery kinda like goblin/hotel del luna/marry my husband - my point tho, Lovely Runner isnt all 'high school/adolescent love' theres more to it, which to me is actually worth to try since they liked marry my husband and goblin

You just answered to your own question:) You don't feel connection with older couples, because you are still at young age. The more you are older, the more you'll prefer older couples (+30). As you can see, they're grown adults, not teens. I was in love with this kind of kdramas in my teen years, but now I'd rather watch adult-like plots. Idk why, they're more interesting to me. Also, they've said "Twinkling watermelon" wasn't their cup of tea, that's why people predicting "Lovely runner" in that way.

im usually a thriller/mystery kdrama person but sometimes i go for a genre change as long as the romcom drama keep me hooked every ep and thats what lovely runner did, which honestly a lot of actual teen love kdrama doesnt do for me - theres just so much more than adolescent love in Lovely Runner it actually hurts me when i see ppl say that it's 'just teen love' 😭

coudn't agree anymore, im not too sure why people are acting like it's a unserious high school romcom. i think some kdrama fans tend to underestimate any drama with a teen arc which i don't understand at all. as a young adult (almost 20) it's hard for me to feel a connection with older couples (30+) or just a more adult-like plotline (the business/office trope) also seeing how the two kdramas theyre currently watching are a bit older and very different plotwise it would be nice for them to do a more recent one.

Lovely runner is good but for what it is, it’s crazy overrated. It’s cute, and the male lead is gorgeous. But that’s about all I have to say. Secretary Kim is more adult, which I know y’all would like. it also has familiar actors, and one of my favorite actresses. Our Beloved summer imo wins in terms of quality, tho it’s not my favorite, love the actors in it they are both from The witch. My favorite is Secretary Kim, it’s a tad cliche but done beautifully. Tbh the best choice for your channel is probably Lovely runner and you guys will like it, I don’t see it making the top ten but who knows y’all might love it.

Although most of these are romcoms, I would say that "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?" is DEFINITELY more y'alls style (two main leads are familiar faces) along with "Descendants of the Sun" which is more nuanced and has more going on plot wise which I think y'all would find interesting. Also, "Descendants of the Sun" was made around the same time period as Fight for my Way which y'all mentioned liking and it has our girl Ji-won! "Our Beloved Summer" is also a romcom, but it has more serious undertones. I enjoyed watching Lovely Runner but I don't see y'all liking it that much.

I'd like to add that I also may have a bias view of Lovely Runner as an idol stan and especially as an idol stan whose ult group lost a member so to see a drama where like so many of us wished that we somehow could have gone in the past and changed things for them, it tugged my heart in some aspects. I don't think it was better than QOT but I did enjoy it. DOS would be my #1 choice though. Youd get lots of views from people wanting to rewatch esp those that loves DOS & watching ppls reactions to it for the first time,and people new to kdramas will get to watch a classic with yall instead of alone. because not many channels, if at all, were doing kdrama reactions when this came out. It took all of Asia by storm even had elderly couples recreating scenes lol! Lovely runner would be great for you want something sweet you won't find dreadful and you want to be on trend.

Please not another romance kdrama. All of them except Beyond Evil and Move To Heaven are focused on romantic relationships. And we already have this kind of kdramas covered a lot of times. I know that u did Parasyte not that long ago, but still. Thriller and horror kdramas aren't as common here. Flower of Evil was intense, but it still had a major part with romantic relationships being an important point of the story. It would be interesting to see something different this time (just my opinion, you are free to disagree)

I would say that I loved all of these(sans beyond evil, never watched because the genre isnt really for me). If you want something recent lovely runner. I watched it after I finished QOT with yall because I wasn't feeling anything else and this was hyped up. I'm not sure how much yall would get into it to be fair but I did like that it had a bit of everything. Descendants of the sun is a classic! Even if yall watched it and it wasn't high ranking after at least you can say you watched it and was able to form an opinion on it. But I think you'd like it.

In the atmosphere of the past few years where critics' and viewers' opinions have been divided, 'beyond evil' is a masterpiece that has received rave reviews from both critics and viewers. It may not have received many votes in the polls, but at least for me, it was the best thriller genre released in Korea in the past 5 years. Even if it's not right away, I promise that if you watch it someday, you won't regret it even 1%.

Park seo joon (WWWSK) said some misogynistic remarks. Not sure what other issues of Song Joongki (DOTS, Vincenzo) is but he divorced his ex-wife (the female lead in DOTS) while she was in an overseas schedule and she just heard about her divorce on news.
