Started watching Fight For My Way and my wife mentions a Taekwondo summer camp she saw on Facebook lol.
I dunno if it’s listening devices or law of attraction.
Just many times i am into something and she in her end finds something to compliment it. Hahah.
So anyways. We enrolled our daughter in Taekwondo.
30’s years + on earth and it never clicked that its a Korean Flag until the Master said Kamsahamnida, i was like wait….”The flag….ohhhhhh 😂😂😂😂”.
(My kid is getting a size smaller btw)

2024-06-07 11:43:29 +0000 UTCFirstly, doing what she likes is #1. But secondly, agree with this comment. Highly recommend judo, especially for kids, because more than Wrestling or BJJ, Judo students master the art of falling SAFELY.

Tae Kwon Do is essentially Korean Karate (in fact Cobra Kai's dojo in Karate Kid used Taekwondo/Taekyeon instead of Japanese Karate like Miyagi Do). I would also recommend maybe having her learn a grappling art too, like Judo, because Taekwondo doesn't teach things like falling down properly. What Taekwondo will improve is reaction time, almost feeling like a superpower. Hapkido (Korean) or Aikido (Japanese) is also a great grappling art and more perfect for defensive fighting/self-defense.
