Its not that simple. It’s really a case by case difference
If the difference is only 15,000 vs 13,000 views. I would rather watch the show i enjoy the most.
If we talking 50,000 views vs 20,000 views. I have to choose the avenue that is best for my staff.
I had a 50% in YouTube revenue just now.
The electric company doesn’t care about that. We survived because in general with the combination of your love for us and picking shows people will watch.
Even posting some shows on the backup channel did remarkably well because they are popular
If you look at the entire schedule you will notice that I sneak in shows I just want to watch regardless of their performance on YouTube
Parasite, 3 body problem, Shogun, currently snowfall. We already posted the second season on Patreon without it testing it on YouTube. Thats why i avoid the community suggestion for “underrated shows”. Lol. I got my own underrated shows i wanna see. (Shogun is highly rated but doesn’t perform well on our channel. Another reason. I dont care about ratings in terms of suggestions. That doesn’t necessarily correspond to what people watch on our channel)
The only way we can watch shows just for the sake of watching it as by having enough high-performing shows to carry
Also i don’t cover things JUST because it gets views, generally i don’t cover American Cartoons that Sorta Stupid and 3 Katanas (something quotation).
Because it includes a lifestyle, I do not care to be a part of certain worlds and communities and that comes into play when picking shows.
I like Asian culture so anime, kdramas, Japanese dramas are something i enjoy. (Technically i enjoy Chinese history but I have detected a mixed response in regards to their TV shows so I have not covered them)
I also enjoy Indian culture. My wife and i watch Indian shows. It’s a nice media to watch because I have to save shows to react.
As you see we also could cover more indian movies they had the highest view count. RRR AND KGF.
I am just not fond of 3 hour movies lol even though the pay off is great because i cant record as much.
Its rather difficult to maintain 5 kdramas and try and add movies
General there is an American movie i naturally wanted to see so i pick it. And I guess that says a lot because Indian movies will always perform an American movie for the channel yeah I still will choose the American movie because that is my culture in the world I consume naturally
The businessman in those movies on my personal time and just react to Indian movies since they are also enjoyable and get greater views
So long story short it depends.
I also try and avoid the rabbit hole of OVER PRIORITIZING views to end up stuck watching things we dont like constantly.
I am currently not stuck down that path

A lot Indian audience audiences watches Kdrama and audience and since they like watching reactions they can check out your other stuff too.

I love taxi drive the Korean drama but it deals with subject that are rather heavy for many people. Content like that might bring lot of views but if not handled might produce issues regarding views comments.

I enjoy your reactions the most. So just keep doing what you feel is best for the channel. On a side note, I'd love a Chinese drama reaction one day. I can confidently say, at the very least, you'd enjoy their fanservice XD Lots of foot/leg shots compared to American and Korean dramas. I swear I sometimes question if having good looking feet is a requirement for being a lead in a C-drama.

We have different life style practices. He does go out and/stream. I am married with family. I dont go out and i generally go to bed early and wake early as i have responsibilities. AdorkableNerd is generally the same. She just trains and stays home. I would like him to be more rested but i cant do anything more than i already have without straining our relationship

(Don’t wanna bombard you with requests you’re not looking into right now) I can suggest a few good ones that aren’t insanely lengthy (even by Indian standards the ones you watched are ridiculously long). The thing with Indian movies is that they are all gonna perform well. So if you pick good ones and some are really good - it’s a good marriage between views and enjoyment. But I warn you, the community that comes with it is super demanding. Like Biggie said “Mo money mo problems”
