If hes walking around with an attractive young girl, the optics is that he still has money to cover her. So its disrespectful to the people he is beggin from since it looks like he still values paying for a woman more than recovering from his F up. Basically, imagine someone comes and drives up to you in a brand new Bentley, and starts begging you for food money. That would piss a lot of people off even if they would normally help (even moreso if they are someone you know... like your friend is begging you to help cover his rent, but hes driving around in a 150k car).
