And it wasn't really escapism he even mentioned it to his mother he had a great day at work and wanted to share it with his love ones think about it he went from 4 or 5 keys from Avi at 12 then 13 a key to 10 keys at 10 a key and they make 100k per key that's a million a week then Jerome gets 25% Kevin and Leon probably get at max 5% a piece then the rest of his workers and business upkeep is probably max 5% which leaves him with 60% of the business for his self that's about 600k a week then he got to fly in a plane he was itching to tell someone about how his day was going

So I don’t take it as malicious I take more as a weapon in his arsenal. Also I believe he also sees Melody soon after IF his mom takes him back in. Mainly cause he cares about her separately from his Mom but also Franklin always wants more (not bad but not good)
