I've heard talks about a Star and Stripe focused miniseries similar to the Vigilantes manga which is set in the MHA universe a few years prior to the show when heroes were becoming state endorsed and there were many who refused to get licenses and go corporate. I'd love that because we definitely didn't get enough of Cassie.

People love to criticize the series over so many things but I instead think about the moments its given me and how I care for the series despite its flaws. The Aoyama thing was set up from the beginning. If you rewatch the series knowing he is the traitor you can see how he acts and what happens during the times the villains show up.

2024-05-20 15:32:45 +0000 UTCWhen Deku held out his hand for Aoyama and Bakugo took notice and said "That's it deku!" its directly correlating with how Deku held out his hand for Bakugo despite the way Bakugo treated Deku. Deku is being a hero for Aoyama despite his unfortunate situation. I honestly think the parents are slightly at fault but mostly they were in a bind as soon as they wanted to give Aoyama a better life. Aoyama would have been treated the same way Deku was if not for a quirk and his parents being rich and capable were able to provide a quirk for him so he would be treated fairly. His parents were trying to look out for him and care about him but they went about it in a "bad" way. As soon as they owed all for one that was when they had no choice in anything at all.

He also did "Signal," the opening for the anime 91 Days, and the theme song for Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse (2019, Japanese Version), "PS Red I."
