yeah tbh I like Kocowa and Viki subs the best, they actually use connotation and explanation rather than just localize and it drastically hinders people who are trying to learn the language. Example: in Netflix, they don't say Noona or oppa in the subtitles, they always just put the characters names, so you lose the context on how they are addressing each other. The nuance is lost. here they make a distinction between Noonim and Noona (both mean older sister but one is more formal).

I was pleasantly surprised with this. The 90s wigs in the beginning were taking me out the matrix lmao glad that was just a short backstory. Cute to see some funny cameos, now I understand why Hae-in slapped her brother in the back of the head so much lol past life karma XD

oh this show's gonna be FUN haha!!! I was worried too with the highschool setting. Was not ready to be stuck in that world for too long. And even more so if they were gonna do my girls dirty in those GOD AWFUL wigs for the entirety of the show. I wouldnt stand for it. So thank God that wasn't the case lol I'm enjoying this so far!
