2024-05-13 19:07:38 +0000 UTCMost likely San-Ti are bug like creatures. This season 1 has been heavily implying to that conclusion. 1. Cicada show been playing in TV too many times 2. In that virtual space that watering of the people, can easily be translated to watering the eggs so they hatch 3. Telepathy is more to creatures who don't communicate through voice and bugs can do similar things in our planet. 4. Can't understand emotions, in most fictions if bugs grew wiser they would have no emotions and would be intelligent cold creatures. 5. That sentence Tatiana got with her headset "If one of us survive we all survive". EDIT* 2nd time seeing this, but is there possibility San-Ti on purpose showed wrong information about Will's space explosions and actually it fully worked the Sophons calculated and made it work. But they send wrong information to the humans so they thought it failed.

The namekians also lived on a planet with 3 suns, and their weather also could be catastrophic. They nearly got wiped out by their own chaotic era, but as long as one survived they all survived, as one could repopulate the species. Not much there, just thought it was cool that it was also the backround for Namek in DBZ, and i wonder if toriyama had known about the connotations of a 3 body star system and its potential effects on a planet stuck between them. And i wonder if the 3 body problem author was a DBZ fan.
