Fake Reaction Anime & Kdrama fans

Before i begin my organized explanation. Often while watching Tv. I think of things that are funny and i cant say out loud.
The show may not actually be funny or it may be a dark moment but i have internal dialogue. Thats why i laugh at sad scenes sometimes. I am watching a show where the dude is in a girl body (LITERALLY BTW)…you know how many jokes i can fire off and most of them are not appropriate anymore. So i cant say em out loud.
So i just laugh. Shyt is funny especially if you know what i am thinking
Yes watching TV with a group of close friends in the same room is a different experience than watching by one’s self.
Sometimes Director is laughing and smacks the hell outta my arm as i am chillin. THATS ENERGY TRANSFER.
Then he starts joking and before you know it. We both laughing. We might be laughing at each other…or the show! Every time a pair of toes appear, you already know im gonna say something lol People watch a show with toes and come to the reaction to even see what i say about em LMAO
Please don’t underestimate the commentary enhances the experience of shows.
I read all the time people not liking a show much until watching it with us and now they like it cuz od the reactions….

AdorkableNerd hyped up Takemichi witH FACTS lol. The cosign changed the way we consume Tokyo Revengers. Lol.
Went from ok… to Great. Enough so that i made several videos defending that show lol.
I leaned into Kisaki when i realized AdorkableNerd was hatin. Thats fun to me. Its a fun experience.
There is much more to a group reaction than the actual show. It includes the relationship and energy in the room.
You can see me struggling with jokes and in Food Wars and the energy didnt work well with just Adorkable. So i phased that out and i always include Director or My Wife lol With these 2 i can do my thing and have a great experience (its not a secret. I now think Adorkable has come out of her shell and would be fun before. She was uncomfortable…remember she didn’t even curse before at all.. lol
Apothecary Diaries is great show but the reason i liked it was because it was fun putting the clues together with friends.
By myself despite the quality. Its not something i would watch on my own. Yet…I loved the experience of reacting to it with friends.
Think about it. Every week. I get to watch TV with some of my closest friends.
How can i not be happy watching TV? Lol

Hey Lee, even if your dad wasn't a great example of what you "should" do as a husband, that just means he was still a good example for you - of what "not to do"! I know it sounds corny but I hope you can appreciate the benefits of having your dad around in any capacity. I absolutely love my mom and dad for everything good and bad.

So anyways between the animated Romcoms and Live Action ones. Really making me think about the issues couples face from different perspectives made me reflect and my wife is so much happier with me cuz i am now “sweet”. Lol. Prior to that. My dad was my male role model for a husband…..but thats a terrible example lol. My mom puts up with that cuz she Jamaican and dont believe in divorce 😂😂.

I get to diversify my intake and consume other content I normally would never touch on my own, especially when shows I’m personally interested in are lacking during particular season. I feel like this even adds value to me personally because I learn about ideas and media I’d never have if it was just me.

Never would've guessed that but for me that was one of the first shows I watched of you guys so didn't have a real sense of how your dynamic works. But you never know how a show is going to resonate and part of the enjoyment is watching y'all figure that out as you go. I remember enjoying y'alls reaction to the more plot-relevant moments rather than the fanservice so I get in hindsight why you felt that way. I still go back and watch some of those episodes because you can still see early moments of the chemistry you and Adorkable will garner together.

2024-05-09 14:38:43 +0000 UTCi'm a silent viewer from youtube since you and your wife - at that time adorkable was included too - started One Piece, i joined only for One Piece, and than move to another animes, to series, to kdramas just to have fun with you guys, its literally true that are shows and animes i wacth just to see your reactions on it, and nowdays it came to a point that when a wacth it something alone i keep thinking what you guys gonna say about it just because how much i relate with your comments, its just so much fun that i myself feel included as if you are my friends, its good to be in this community

So i can basically point traffic to the Kdrama reactions and vice versa to play off each other. As far as other music like hiphop. I dont have a greater strategy as to why id react to it. Rather than just consume it as a regular consumer. Also. I dont get monentization on music videos. But i am using my personal time and i enjoy it. So whatever. The editor is highly cost effective. So it doesn’t hurt me much. I don’t ask for the time of my peers without compensating fairly. Thats why i do a lot of side projects on my own. I gotta think about whatever that split will be. Director is also building his own stuff. So I respectfully also build stuff without tying others into it. So in short. I dont have plans for more types of music reactions because it has to tie into a greater strategy that makes sense to me. I have another channel is get a lot of subscribers for music video reactions but it doesn’t translate into watching their other videos where the monetization carries

Some shows/movies are so bad you cant wait to see much worse it gets. its a reaction channel, if one of yall reacts a certain way cuz of the show/movie reminding you of something or if theres a joke you cant say and just laugh , thats fine too. I wont lie I do get annoyed by some of your takes (applies not just to you but yeah) or if you miss something but ehh Id rather not say hateful shit. The thing about reactions is people kinda expect others to catch or well literally react the same way that they did I guess? If a scene was really dope/ funny theyd want to see the reactions of others to it the same way. you cant expect others to have the same takes or reactions as you do. I wont lie I wish I could hear the jokes you guys are holding back on but times are such.

I watch stuff on my own and be sobbing about a scene then I watch it later with my sister and we're just cracking jokes the whole time so I really get you... plus your happy energy is what makes me binge these long kdrama reactions in the first place

For example I watched my hero academia about a year or two ago, and my expectations were so low that I loved it. And then with chainsaw man it was hyped up so much that when I watched It I was like. “ Well this was okay.” When objectively chainsaw man was a better show.
