pls watch 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo' it's a classic romcom similar to 'Fight for My Way' the two leads have so much chemistry and are both college athletes...its very wholesome. 2016-2017 were the golden years for kdramas, I wish they could bring those vibes back.

Judging by your tastes and things you have liked in the past i would highly recommend checking out Sky Castle and Mask Girl. Mask Girl is really not your typical Kdrama in any sense though.

My list of K drama’s you might find interesting (no spoilers): Little Women (2022) It is nothing like the american Little women. It is about 3 poor sister and a murder mystery, Imagine poor fighting against rich. But not actually a lot of action or violence, more suspense, I liked it. Its 12 episodes. The K2 (2016) WIth our Ji Chang-Wook (from Worst of evil), This is about ex soldier that becomes bodyguard. I think they were actually a bit inspired by ‘Bodyguard’ but this has much more suspense and action, and freaking good romance! Its 16 episodes Uncontrollably Fond (2016) This is maybe a bit biased, but this is my favourite Kdrama that I could never watch again because it something you watch when you WANT to cry. Its so good.I cannot tell to much, but its a really good love story that is developed REALLY well. you can really tell the writers spend time on romance development. Hope you guys react to it, and hope you also cry lol. Its 20 episodes :( Little long, but so good, hope other find this as well. Hwarang (2016) I mean, its the classic, and one of the first Kdrama’s of a lot of first time watchers. Its good, got good comedy. Good overall story, never boring. However it does fall into the catergory of would not watch again for me, but if you look it up its the most rewatched Kdrama. Sadly also 20 ep, i do believe they where like 30-40 min eps, not hour long, could be wrong Celebrity (2023) I found this one pretty fun to watch, but i am really into “social popularity” type shows. So this is drama is kind of like nobody who gets very famous, makes enemies and friends. Was a fun watch, sometimes dragged on a bit, but which drama doesn’t do that. I recommend this one. 12 episodes, and still new new :) Oh My Venus (2016) Really fun comedy with romance, about fat girl getting ‘hot’, outdated message, but still super fun! I kind of see you guys liking this just as much as Strong-woman, but this one is a bit faster paced. It has 16 episodes.

I loved fight for my way a lot more than Itaewon class but, that's my own personal opinion. It's a fairly light drama but, the chemistry between the main leads is 🔥

I mean, that's valid. It might have to do with the fact that I've been watching kdramas for much longer than you, almost 10 years at this point. I was excited because the premise sounded quite unconventional and fresh but then it ended up having a lot of tired, overused kdrama tropes that I just didn't appreciate.

I don’t have a rating cuz it competes with a lot of shows that are similar like “blood hounds and shop for killers”. So it’s simply a very good show. Dunno where to rank it. Doesn’t help that i seen long ago. So its not fresh enough to rank anymore particularly cuz i dont think of it as i do Extracurricular for example

Thanks for the detailed rankings! Ive always wondered where Uncanny Counter would be in your ranking. I remember you really enjoyed Season 1 but Season 2 indeed ruined the whole show overall, and also for somun and hana shippers which were like 90% of the viewers. Season 1 was perfect as it is. And for the poll, I love both shows but since Mr. Queen is longer then I voted for it to be 3 days.

sorry it's not related i just would like to recommend u some slice of life drama tht i rlly love. first, hospital playlist s1&s2 ( love this drama so so so muchhh. both seasons were rlly good. they also gnna sing (a band) in s1 not that much sing but still many while in s2 each ep they would sing a song that related to the ep it's rlly goodd and they hv their variety show after the drama ended bcs their friendship and chemistry off cam was the bestt and funnyyy), second, prison playbook ( i rlly like each characterr so muchhhhh and the humor the humorrrrr i rlly love it ) , reply 1988 ( there's other reply series but this was top for me ), hometown cha cha cha ( this might be cliche romcom but the best one for me out there u're gonna love all the character ). and then taxi driver s1&s2 ( the best drama revenge for me. each ep hv different case. and many were based on real events ). and just wanna rcommend some movies too like the outlaws, the roundup, the roundup:no way out, emergency declaration, pandora, along with the god 1&2, 6/45, sunny. wait my love from the star was good too i rlly love plus kim soo hyun was in it. that's it thankk uu :⁠^⁠)

No cons. Id have to nitpick to find a con. For example i dont have a wifey like i normally do in a Kdrama. But thats not needed to enjoy this story at all. The Female Lead is charming in a very unique way. But again. Thats me reaching cuz you asked. Otherwise so far. Pros. Funny, unique, well flushed out characters, with different motivations and objectives, its hard to recommend something that you guys think is funny and i find as funny. But this is it. The female lead is just awesome at conveying how id be in that same situation and we have joked about it many times. So it only has pros. SO FAR. No cons

You listed cons i appreciate. Business? LOVE IT. Crazy Villain. Love it. I thought it was gonna be just about their couple and their issues hahah. A lot is left to think about. They talked about the baby in terms of how they badly reacted and then eventually had one. So we don’t really need those details to be said in detail. But i respect that you wanted to see it. For example i wanted the couple to know. Baek saved her as a child. But they didnt talk about that. The parents did 🤷🏽‍♂️ lok

Queen of tears is your number 1? Damn, that’s crazy For me it kind of missed the mark a little because the premise was so good but didn’t live up to what I thought it would be at all. Way too much business/company nonsense that I don’t particularly care for as well as the mr yoon stuff that just escalated WAYYY too much. This show didn’t need a typical villain, nor to have the male lead continuously get injured (which is also quite cliche) to keep the plot going and be interesting. I was hoping for it to really all be about communication. Understanding their miscommunication and learning how to communicate properly. But we didn’t get that at all, we barely even saw them address the loss of their baby. So personally, I don’t think it lived up to its potential. I do really like seeing extracurricular still in your top dramas though, despite it being one of the first ones you watched and it not being super popular. It’s one of my favs as well.
